ok Atrox, I have some code in there that makes sure you have the right type of chest (in this case a gold one) in order to use a key so you don’t accidentally waste it. I can probably tweak it so that it only cares that you have a chest to open, not that it’s the same type as the key.

v1.09: Doing some arena matches I found this player named Elf who is a level 21 Aertes. I looked at my hero selection screen and it won’t let me level past 20. Is this a bug?

Armorer description (armorsmith unit): reduces damage from any source by 1.
Armored description: this unit takes 0-1 less damage from any source.

Magic dome description (elder green dragon): gives all friendly units the magic shield special while in play, which blocks all damage from magic attacks.
Magic shield blocks 1-2 damage from magic attacks, not all damage.

- Elder Erisdar’s lightning nova is affected by regular shield even though it deals magic damage.
- (On another note, all blue drakes are the same exact thing as red drakes, except without burning. Maybe give them another ability?)
- Brood Mother’s spiderlings don’t receive buffs from units played before the spiderling was summoned. Ex. If I play something with champion infantry and the spiderling is summoned after, it doesn’t receive the buff from champion.
- Spiderlings lose their buffs when they evolve. If a spiderling gains champion infantry from Elder Warrior, and it evolves when Elder Warrior is still alive, it doesn’t gain the buff from champion infantry back.

@atrox – will fix in next update, thanks for reporting.
@moose – also will try to fix these. Blue drakes should go through shields (magic damage) should go through shields, while red drakes (normal damage) should not.

Zak’s egg was in field for 3 turns. then the egg got bounced. a few turns later, the egg got summoned into field for the 2nd time. but the moment its summoned, it turned into a drake. Bug or feature ?

Gems seem to disappear out of our inventories if we save them instead of using them right away. I lost an emerald earlier, and just now I lost another emerald and a ruby. Suzume also lost 2 emeralds earlier today.
It seems like other items, including Sapphires and Gem Shards, are more durable somehow.

Web is classified under non magic skill nowadays right? Wondering why sela’s magic shield still preventing the range/web’s paralyse from activating. aka why magic shield allow units to be immune to range attack’s effects.

1- there seems to be a bug that prevents bounced units’ timers to work properly. To be more precise, what happens is that a bounced back units timer isn’t going down, so that unit can’t go back into the field and is effectively out of of the game.
Don’t know if that happens always or just some time… it happened to me with a stealthed unit, but in a replay i also see it happen with a normal unit.
2- On sir v’s point about coliseum’s opponents…. does coliseum choose randomly an opponent between a group of 5 possible opponents? If i exit and enter again my opponent changes, but it seems to always get 1 from a group of 5 opponents that doesn’t change until i win or lose a game… If yes, are you by any chance using the old gauntlet’s score system as a hidden points system that select the next first 5 opponents you can get at any rank, and then you just select one randomly? If yes… couldn’t the arena just show us 5 possible opponents and let us choose 1 between them every time? i mean, if i can exit and enter until i get 1 opponent i like, may as well make things a bit more confortable…
Btw, i would advise against forcing people to face always the same opponent at a given rank, because it would get frustrating if you find someone you can’t counter with the cards you own. In gauntlet you could at least choose 1 opponent between 5, and i think it would be ok to heep things like that. You still need a certain amount of grinding to get gems anyway, so i think it’s fair enough.
3- I’m not sure about what happened, but during a match my elder cinder (the legendary fire dragon) stopped using his ability for the rest of the game, becoming totally useless. He wasn’t corroded, btw.

Z\_\_Y, stock10 has been removed. Yes, there are 5 opponents available at any time in the coliseum. Avoiding a list is intended to simplify the user interface especially for new users.
Think we’ve found the gem disappearing issue and a patch is coming. For now, I recommend you immediately trade in rubies and emeralds for gem points immediately.
I’ll let Storm answer the rest of these (particularly the game rule decisions).

@ Sir-V, lesink found the bug (even though it was MY bug) causing gems to disappear, will be fixed in next patch.
@ Z\_Y: in next update, web will be adjusted. I can give a targeting requirement for bounce, but fixing the problem where multiple bounces fire and have no targets will be challenging. Assassinate can’t be prevented if the unit takes damage, I kinda like it this way. Coliseum – I know about the loophole, but figured players might want to have some control over their next opponent, so for now I’m leaving the ‘feature’ in :) Will fix Liaric bug, unsummon bug, and beezleblub bug in next update.
@ Ziovi – will fix bounce in next update. Yes, coliseum chooses a random of 5 opponents above you right now so you can get some variety and not get stuck on a specific opponent. I could expand the interface to allow you to select but will take some time. Re – dragon bug, I should have fixed those problems in the last patch yesterday, make sure you are up to 1.12 and let me know if you see it again.

Purple drake is supposed to do corrosive spit to a random enemy in the description, but it is doing it to opposing.

Bug or feature? When a paralyzed enemy is in stealth mode (usually because of the Shadows spell) and something attacks it, the attack does not go through, but the enemy does wake up.
