1.15
lag is back. 2-4 times slower than 1.14
one of the drake/dragon, should be purple, dealing dmg to hero when there are still units in field.
are drake/dragon supposed to dmg hero if nothing in front of them or nothing in opposite field?
cos drake attack 1 slot, dragon all 3 slots, elder dragon attack all slots.

bug or feature?
Myrrine
When all units are at maxed hp, myrrine do not bother removing status debuffs.
Currently, a unit need to be damaged before it has a chance to be ‘restored’ / cured.

This happens not only with Myr, but with healers units too. They don’t use their heal to remove status effect on an unit with max HP even if there aren’t any other units to heal.

@xotl – will fix.
@sir\_v – hmm, not sure?
@z\_y – will definitely work on optimization today. Re – dragons, I think drake/dragon will attack enemy hero if none opposing, elder will not.
@mxkb – sent you replacement gems. The bug has been fixed so you shouldn’t see that happen anymore hopefully.
@jelokym/Z\_Y/Ziovi, need to rework heal targeting logic, it’s on the list.

Bug or feature?
Looking into the “terrify” skill, i noticed something strange: during a game, my elder cinder came out, but the enemy creature in front of him wasn’t terrified until he attacked. That would make me think that a creatures get terrified only when hit by the dragon (and of course while standing in front of him), and not immediately just by standing in front of him like i initially tought.
But then, next turn another creature came into the field in front of my elder cinder, and got the “terrified” status right away, even before attacking.
So, is this intended or is it a bug? Should an unit get terrified the moment it stands in front of the dragon or not?
EDIT: this is just a guess, but is the “terrified” status active only during the enemy’s turn? that would explain it…

Today I faced the same player several times at different ranks in the coliseum during the top 10 battles. I won and met him again. Bug?

I would say that a stealthed paralyzed enemy when attacked should be unstealthed but not unparalyzed.
Also when a Guardian dies the creature next to it is still Guarded until the end of the round. Not sure if that’s intended but seems a little strange to me as well.

v1.16:
It is possible now to open the endless dungeon with a low level hero and get a low level opponent, then switch armies with the appropiate hotkey (1-9) to face a low level opponent with a high level army.
Being able to switch armies with hotkeys is REALLY helpful, so please don’t remove this feature, just refresh your opponent when you do so.

@ ziovi – yes, terrify is activated on the enemy turn before they attack.
@ zak25 – right now it picks a random opponent 1-10 levels above you in the coliseum so you don’t get stuck on a single opponent. As you climb you may hit the same enemy more than once.
@ sir\_v. ok, on the list.
@ ars, will fix.
@ joshy, will fix
@ bernat, on the list.
@ rakasharan, will fix
@ jelokym, any way to reproduce this?

Not sure if this counts, but the art of the wolf scout has a bow, but it has melee attack. It sorta makes sense for a light scout to have a bow, but maybe this is so it isn’t overpowered because of wolfpack?

Static field on the blue dragon egg triggers intimidate. I’m pretty sure that’s a bug…

Intimidate also seems to stack; my singer was buffing a chaingunner and a blue drake (formerly blue dragon egg) kept getting buffed but having the buffs removed (even though it had been debuffed back when the dragon was in the egg).

i think it was just an impression. You see, intimidate and terrify are active only on the turn of the intimidated/terrified unit, but the effect is removed on the enemy’s turn.
To give you an example, if your the enemy uses a dragon in your turn, you won’t see your unit that stands in front of the dragon getting intimidated right away. Instead, the “intimidated” status will appear only in your turn, and only then you will have -1 att. But once your turn is over, the “intimidated” status is removed and you gain back your attack during your opponent’s turn. The debuff will be there again at your next turn.
Terrify works exactly the same way.
Now, i think that what you have seen was your attack decreasing many times, but that was actually just the debuff re-applying at your every turn after disappearing during the opponent’s turn (but it’s still applied only once).
Btw, since i’ve seen people misunderstanding this, let me clarify: intimidate and terrify don’t work like weaken, as in there is no need for the unit who has that skill to hit the opponent’s unit. Instead, the latter will be intimidated/terrified just by standing in front of the former, altough the effect will be active only during the intimidated unit’s turn.
Also, the effect is instantaneous, so if during your turn an unit enters the field in fron of an enemy’s dragon, it will get intimidated right away before attacking. That also means that jester spiders can’t kill dragon unless they have their attack buffed.

Strange though maybe intentional behavior: A creature with Drench will not fire its ability unless there are living enemies on the opponent’s side of the board. That means you can have some of your own troops “Burning” and a your creature won’t use Drench to heal them, sometimes. Sort of funny … not really sure whether it’s better than the alternative but thought I’d mention.

Walls aren’t supposed to be able to be healed (that’s what the description reads anyway).

Reporting a rather weird bug.
I was looking at a card during play, and while looking at it, I lost the game. I clicked on ‘retry battle’ and the battle restarted (without music; don’t know if this is a bug). Anyway, for some reason the game was progressing with the ‘pause’ button replaced with a blinking ‘play’ button. So I clicked it, but the game paused. Clicking the pause button several times didn’t help, and I had to refresh my browser as I couldn’t unfreeze the game. (The ‘forfeit match’ button did not respond either.)

Okay so I noticed 2 things – 1 of them might be a bug and the other is definitely a bug.
1) I’m not sure why the Black Drake, when hatched from the Black Dragon Egg, keeps the Armored skill while a regular Black Drake does not. It makes the Black Drake just very marginally better in certain situations than the Black Dragon Egg. I’d recommend maybe giving the whole evolutionary line of Black Dragons the Armored skill or taking the skill away from the Black Drake when hatched from the egg.
2) Confuse does not work when I use it but when enemies use the skill, it works. I slowed down the speed of the battle just to see what was going on with it and it really doesn’t work for some reason. One of my units kept landing confuse on a ranged unit and that ranged unit kept attacking my units.

@ provokes, yeah I’ll fix the black drake bug. Not sure what is going on with confuse but I’ll look into it.
For those of you having connection issues this morning (‘login to kongregate failed’) – my hosting service changed a configuration on me without telling me and brought the service down (not happy about that). It has been fixed but the fix relies on ‘DNS propagation’ – meaning the internet needs to reconfigure itself to point at the right servers. This can go quickly or slowly depending on where you are at geographically, so if you are having trouble getting in the game please check back a bit later. Sorry for the bugs!

I actually thought it was pretty neat that a hatched Black Drake keeps the armored skill but then realized it was inconsistent with the other dragons and the regular Black Drake card itself.
But, having hatched Drakes possess certain skills or traits passed on from their respective eggs makes for a very interesting game mechanic.
