We've noticed players are occasionally filling up the tourneys with alt / farming characters in order to cheat their way to an epic win. I wanted everyone to know this is a bannable offense, so don't do it. If you see this happening, please send me or Sir Valimont a PM and we'll take care of it ASAP.

this is still clearly going on. suggest either coming up with a format that doesn't encourage this behavior or implementing some simple checks on behavior to identify chronic cheaters. will also note it is frustrating to see some of the players who cheated for months continue to benefit from cheating because they were never punished.

I'd like some clarification on this issue. Is it a punishable offense for players not operating these accounts to "farm" them? As when it comes down to the wire myself, and I'm sure many others, use coins to prey on opponents with poor records as to not risk missing the 20-win mark. I assume you're free from persecution unless you're managing one of these accounts yourself right?

I'd call preying on decks you can beat a basic strategy of the tourney. Look for heroes you should be strong against and look for people with a bad record, don't mess with the others.
I am not a tourney pro, I have only played three times. I screwed up one royally with my picks and didn't use coins, but on my other two I have won 19 and 21 times. Had I held true to the above philosphy earlier during my 19 win attempt, it easily could have been 20+.

We're going to overhaul tourneys to fix a lot of these problems. We shall see if we have time to do this before iOS release in 2 weeks ... if not, we will do it just a bit after. We will keep everyone posted on progress!
