Do you have Sidalis? He deals 2 electrical damage to every enemy unit each round. Most traps won't last long against that, and it doesn't matter how many of them there are.
Another plus is that Sidalis' attack will stun any Machine it hits. Stunned units don't attack for one round, and you inflict that on all of them *every* round.
