Just wanted to throw my 2 cents worth into the discussion. There are quite a lot of players in this game that have been here for 2 or more years. Most of the upper tier teams are stacked with them. You will hear some griping about new content, new new heroes, etc. , but most of that comes from the older tier players who’ve been here for years. Yes, we wish that the devs would finish out the hero roster (and maybe add 3 Neutral heroes also) , but this game has kept a lot of folks interested for a long time. It’s a very good game...contains a lot of different scenarios and nuances, and when it was mentioned above, that most of us are still learning new tricks, it’s true.
Don’t be scared off by some people’s negativity. Join a Guild, get involved, and just enjoy youself.
