When you first start a match and you are still in the ropes before you fly off do you see something to the right of the stopwatch that says "rift" or something like that on it? If so click it and you'll see the rift you have to fly through. Once you fly through it there is a wall at the end of that when you break through it completes that rift. If you don't see this rift object then keep breaking through walls.
