Player\_03 what gave you the idea to make the run series. I’m not angry or anything just asking, thats all.

It was originally for a game design contest in 2007, but we\* decided to keep working on it afterwards, to turn it into a better game. Run 1 wasn’t officially released until a year after that contest ended, and it was clearly worth the extra effort.
\*The contest was for teams, so I worked with [an artist](http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/xelaO). He designed and animated the Runner, and he helped playtest.
