Hi everyone,
This is just a quick note that when Flash is no longer supported in browsers, I will provide **free, non-sitelocked downloadables** in the forms of .swf and .exe, so that you can play Anti-Idle offline in your computer. There will not be leaderboards and chat room, but for the most part, everything else will be the same. Numerous changes will have to be made to the game to make that happen, but please be assured that I will get those things sorted out.
There are no plans to release a Steam version or port Anti-Idle to something else that will still be supported by browsers at that time (such as HTML5).
Should you have any questions, feel free to post in this thread or send me a message.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Tukkun

Tukkun, I would like to thank you for all of the work that you have put in to this game over the years. Reading the post on your site made me nostalgic for the golden age of Anti-idle and all of the people that were once part of the community. I still use the icon that Shinki made as my profile icon, not only on Kong, but on Steam, Google, and the personal image on my computer. People may have moved on, but those days will not be forgotten.
I remember finding Anti-Idle durring the Pre-explosion days; it was the summer before seventh grade. Anti-Idle was a significant part of my summer that year, and has been a presence in my life since. Anti-Idle has been a part of my life for many years now, and now that I move into my junior year of college, I would like to express my overwhelming gratitude for this contribution that you have made to my development as a person. I believe that there are many people out there who have taken alot from this game. No matter how you feel Tukkun, you should know that you have had positive impact on people's lives.
When flash is phased out, it will be the the end of another era. If you choose to move on from programming, I believe that if you bring the same spirit that you brought to Anti-Idle, you can succeed in wherever your path takes you. Thank you Tukkun, for everything that you have done, and everything that you will do in the future.
Good luck finding another line of work on Mars. ;)

Unfortunately, there probably won't be enough demand for continued updates after Flash ends. The number of players and activity in the community are already declining fast. When there are not even a hundred active players and I also no longer receive ad revenue from Kongregate, there's little reason to continue development of this game instead of working on something new. I'll still try to finish a few things such as the House, Achievement/Quest revamp and minor QoL updates, but they're currently not my top priority.

The delay of Anti-Idle: Reborn is not a big surprise to me. You can take as much time as you want with it for my part, also thanks for caring for the players that still play your games

It would be cool to see a steam release of anti-idle. steam games can run on flash. I assume that will continue to be true past 2020? it would probably easier to port to steam rather than porting to a language that's not flash?
you might even see a reinvigoration of the userbase? I always recommend this game to my friends over games like realmgrinder or even trimps.

Tukken,
First - thank you for creating this game, for building a community, for pouring your heart and time into this effort, and for allowing all of us to create fond memories and feelings because of this.
Quite a while ago, I spent a lot of time with another game with a similar feeling of community and passion (called TDZK). It was a shame when it ultimately closed down and everyone went their own way, but I don't regret any of the time spent with it (or the people in my guild or the broader community).
How difficult is it to "port" this game into another format that will continue to be viable in the future? I'm not a programmer, so I have no real context for this. It would be wonderful (as other's noted) to be able to continue to revisit the game as time moves on, even if the community aspect isn't as vibrant.

I also want to thank Tukkun for all the work spent these years in Anti Idle.
I'll miss this community. Sadly, playing offline won't be the same experience, but that's not your fault of course.
Good luck with your life and future projects.

Tukkun, here's to hashtag the removal of flash in 2020:

Man, Anti Idle is to die with Flash huh. Thats, kinda sad. This game got me through a real bad spot in life as something to focus on. Tukkun, if you could creat this wonderfully deep and amazing game, I cant wait to see what you come up with next. Hell, if this is the only game in your portfolio its gonna be a damn impressive piece of work none the less.
I feel its successor will be a beast and lay waste to the internet and maybe even mobile markets, but many of us will say "I played its ancestor the great Anti Idle: The Game"

Will there finally be something like "Setup your challenge/TBG and try out yourself without waiting Tukkun to accept and then implement the challenge"? Mostly to have fun even when there won't be chatrooms anymore and we don't know what to do.

There are plans to revamp the Technical Battleground system before the final update. A create your own challenge system sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if there's enough demand for it, especially when the community is likely to vanish.
