Umm, not to offend you Tukkun, but that link in the first post expired, and is now just a scam site.
I really hope you're going to be alright. You're learning a new coding program, whatever it is...I think it's going to be hard for you.

I just saw this... I've been gone from AITG for a while, but I came back to play around on it again from scratch, and I'll say this: I may be poor, disabled, on a fixed income, but I'd pay $5 for this on sale on Steam, like if it were normally $10 but on sale 50% off (I wait for all games to reach 50% off). You've created a unique and expansive phenomenon in the field of idle games, incrementals, clickers, and the like, and I'd consider it well worth it. Steam would also allow the community to continue and expand as new players were exposed to it.
Just going to put that there.

I would even pay 10x that amount if it was on steam, game is a lot better that any triple A trash that comes out. It's just never coming to steam. Maybe kartridge? Who knows... Could be too much work to do something like that for such a niche game.

I'm gonna post my thoughts about Steam release.
Yes, game may not be liked on Steam. Yes, low graphics. Yes, no sound. I never cared on that during the past....uh, 5 years? forgot, even.
Also considering that Steam is getting flooded by so many idle games that, compared to AITG, I consider much inferior, I think releasing it there could be great tbh. What if game was completely f2p but then you could get sorta like VIP access that doesn't cost a lot ($3?) so you don't consider your work on Steam meaningless.
Kong's also losing popularity and hopes because of Flash dying.

Dear Tukkun please think about this. Someday flash will really " die " and kongregate will also disappear or change beyond recognition. If you make a stand-alone version of the game that someday in the future, those who played anti-idle the game will show this game to their children, and those grandchildren. stand-alone version will last much longer on the Internet than web based flash version. And in the very distant future, Internet archaeologists will find this game and be surprised by the wisdom of their ancestors. Thank you very much for the years of interesting game. We hope for continuation or other wonderful projects.

I am not so sure the playerbase will neccesarily decline.. for me, I'd be glad to return once flash-free version is there (getting a black flash screen all the time even now so I thought I'd be leaving until that is over).
Although, without leaderboards and a chat, I guess a lot of appeal for players will also be gone.
p.s. from a dev-/ and community perspective, this is maybe the best game I've ever found :/ sad if it breaks but props for making it this far, Tukkun and long timers!
Edit: Wouldn't it be kinda easier to see if the game can move on to Newgrounds instead? Or is this "Kongregate exclusive" thingie a contract preventing it?
For reference here is a link to their flash emulating project

We all definitely want to see this game still be playable after flash is discontinued. Or even a new game made by the same fella. But either way, it's very cool coming back to this after so many years.

Yeah I agree. To be fair I DID stop playing when it seemed like Tukkun took an indefinite break (and also no more REBORN). Actually was discussing about idle games the other day on NGU idle Discord when someone mentioned Anti-Idle. That was when we found out that the game had "recently" been updated. I came back after that.
Tukkun, if you release the downloadable version, you should definitely do like an announcement email or make it a "new" release for everyone to see on Kong's front page. That will definitely remind everyone that the game is still relevant. Heck, honestly you can throw in some microtransactions in and I'm sure all of us would be all for it, if that's what it takes for you to continue dev and also REBORN. At least it will be more worth your time.
As for community, an easy as heck solution is if you can redirect everyone to an Anti-Idle Discord.

Stumbling across this thread today was bittersweet, considering how many people foresaw the collapse of Kong. We just didn't expect it to happen so suddenly. I, for one, will be waiting with bated breath to see if Anti-Idle appears in any other format... Thanks for the years of fun this brought me, Tukkun. I even had my wife playing the game for a couple years! We all hope to see your work again soon.

Kong has lost their minds. Chat is going to die and the forums locked. This is the link for the Discord that "most" of us are using. https://discord.gg/BP6cgJ2

Since there will be a exe version of this game. Why not try put that into steam? I don't know how hard would it be but I really want to see this great game in my steam library and can be accessed to easily. Also, community may have a chance to be rebuilt on steam, and I'd like to pay for this game, in a way.

I gotta agree. I wouldn't mind paying for this game, or even a free version with a few non obnoxious ads, so new players can easily try the game.

Can only agree with the other players, I might not play actively regularly but I always come back to AITG, recently tried NGU but it doesn't even starts to compare to the level of polish AITG has, I'd gladly pay for this game on steam

just so it's on the record. if you're sick of kongregate, the test verison 1833 exe works offline ((at lest for me))
so you don't need to use this trash site a moment longer then you need to
