I believe there's some confusion going around for any Kongregaters that don't look at EE's official forums. Recently, there was a flashy red banner put up on the main forums saying something like "Everybody Edits will no longer be updated." This was put up by NVD, who up until recently had ownership of Everybody Edits. That is no longer the case. The game is no longer owned by NVD, as he has given the game to co-owners Emalton and MegaLamb. It is currently co-owned by Emalton and Megalamb (who carries the in-game tag "Xenonetix"). The new owners have promised to continue updating the game. There are also several other staff members that have quit. Those that have left are: Showpath EEJesse Phinarose NVD Benje00 The remaining staff are: Emalton (co-owner) MegaLamb (co-owner) LRussell (moderator) Another staff member, Cola1, is unaware of all the recent happenings, so it is currently unknown if he will remain on staff. There was also a brief period where MegaLamb resigned due to some staff drama concerning Atilla, a user who was heavily involved with the staff but never officially part of it. After this brief period, MegaLamb was reinstated as a campaign manager for a brief time. He now co-owns the game with Emalton. Point is, game will continue to be updated.
