I've tried switching browsers, I've updated Flash (SEVERAL TIMES, mind you), I've tried pretty much everything, and yet it still keeps telling me to download Flash. Also, yes, I do have JavaScript enabled. So what am I supposed to do?

What about enabling flash? Have you tried it yet? I did. It worked.
Google chrome asks flash from you (by default).

Switching browsers wouldn't help. In this case, exiting out of the browsers you have open. (All of them) Should include you going back in, and restarting an entirely new browser. Not just some new tab, exit out of old tab and make a new one stuff.
If the problem is not resolved. I'd recommend switching your laptop/computer to see if that helps it. <--- That's how it worked for me. Of course having javacript enabled and flash up to date.
Edit: A friend of mine had the same problem, he said restarting his laptop/computer worked.

I am unable to replicate the problem to find a proper fix, but for most users it was fixed when we pushed out the SSL changes.

It seems like this game doesn't work on Opera (which is the browser I use most), but I got it to work on Firefox. Thanks for the help.

someone's messing with it today, most likely in response to yesterday's wave of staff resignations/the owner leaving the game. give it time i guess.

I cant play EE anymore in Kongregate, the Official Website, even the private website (which is when you click "Open This Frame in a New Tab".).

Since today I also can't log in on the main site; I get redirected to a generic hosting/holding page.
If I approach the main site from a web proxy based in the US, I can log in and play as normal.
