I recently purchased some KREDs to spend in "Mighty Party," however after clearing my browser cache and temporary internet files I had to start over in the game. I will try to keep a backup from now on but is there anyway to restore those purchases? I tried clicking the Restore Purchases button inside the game but it doesn't do anything.

You can try to contact the developers. They would be the ones to address any in-game issues (such as this). They are the only ones with access to do so. However, I thought that game stored player data on its server (not via a cookie).
