At one point kong no longer sold stickers, now the sticker page is down. Is kong finally on its way out?

They'll probably stay up for as long as it is profitable to do so, the website is in its mature phase of its lifespan so they are cutting back on as many things as possible to save money to be put to other uses.

I think sometime, possibly very soon, they will merge this site into Kongregate.io. The FAQ at that site says this:
> **What will happen to my Kongregate.com account?**
> Your Kongpanions and Stickers from Kongregate.com will be convertible to NFTs on KONGREGATE.io later this year. Your badges on Kongregate.com will carry forward automatically on KONGREGATE.io if you connect accounts, as will your progress in Animation Throwdown, Bit Heroes and Spellstone.
Ignoring the 'later this year' bit which for weeks has looked optimistic they clearly plan to move all Stickers, Kongpanions etc, on the new site. The missing sticker page here is probably part of that, something that got removed too early but which going forward will only exist on the new site.
What else moves to the new site? Some but not all games I would think. Forums I doubt it; the new meta is to outsource that to Discord, Reddit, Twitter etc. Kreds and Blocks maybe, though they might get converted to whatever (crypto) the new site uses.

Supernova isn't a solution though. I mean, the whole point of causual gaming is you can just drop into the game anytime, by navigating to it with your browser or clicking an icon on your phone. Having to mess around with a third party app you need to download, install and configure is completely contrary to that. It's Windows only too – Mac users like me are excluded.
So I think Flash games will be left behind. Could be too most JS/HTML games are – they might only keep supporting the ones with NFTs (two currently), or the ones here which make money which I guess is those with chat rooms. Whichever it is has probably already been decided – we can only guess at how many people play each game, but Kong will know exactly and so know which games have enough interest in them.

Well, those stickers were never sold for money. So it's not like they ever actually started selling them, and I feel like that one can only "no longer sold" stuff after they have started selling them first.
I guess that the main problem is that those stickers have no monetary value, so keeping them online means losing money.
NFTs might be a better solution for that. Now those NFTs will probably end up selling for $0.05 (like those Steam in game items), but now with the additional proposition that they have to be kept online forever. That sounds a much better way to make money?
But if you do think that NFTs have good value, then I have some shares of MTG that you can be interested in... Or some out-of-date vaccines... Or some claims from some women about being harassed by some famous person... Or some used fireworks... :P
