Right now, my defense gets attacked by a lot of players. I am not fully active, and I really dont like losing resources. I need a good defense to fend off other players. Should I use veterans, snipers or normal troops. Should I spend good troops on my garrison and how should my defense be placed. Please help!
Also is it a good idea to use my science on defending my production building. For example, I mean like when somebody attacks your mine will keep 10% of its iron.
P.S Thank you trasredemar for continously attacking me and losing and giving me +10 glory!

Honestly you can upgrade your defence but no defence can stop a good attacker. I've tried every troop combo and ehhhhhh it doesnt work you can buy military decorations I guess they help, you can use science for fortification i guess they work.Once replay was taken away and you can't see battle it makes it hard to know whats going on.Playing a war game and not being able to see battles you're involved in kinda stupid and not legit..

To start, what does your current defense look like and what level are you? Then I could see if there are some obvious weak spots. Also, try to get at least trenches science rank 5 (they will become hard to hit for the enemy). Investing science in other structures is also really worth it. Especially sniper towers since they get many kills if they have decent upgrades. Try to place your artillery trenches in a place that they're not too vulnerable and preferable protect them with line infantry that's good at melee, so cavalry charges become less effective. Decorations also really help. For example, - 10 accuracy and high evasion of trenches makes troops useless at ranged battles against them and forces them to use artillery/cavalry/melee
