Hello Everyone,
We experienced an issue in the Guild Rumble's matchmaking during the 10th battle that caused no guilds to be matched for the first two hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and have sent an in-game mail with a few items to all players.
To ensure a smoother transition into the [new format coming to Guild Rumble](https://www.kongregate.com/forums/726779-animation-throwdown/topics/1550843-official-rumble-improvements-planned-for-march-22), the new format will be pushed out one additional event so that guild’s can use a clean, bug-free event to get seeded into the new format.
This means that the Guild Rumble beginning on March 22 will remain under the current/old format and the first Rumble to take place under the new format will begin on April 12.
If you have more questions for feedback to share, please use this thread.
Thank you all for your patience and for playing Throwdown!
***
EDIT:
Any feedback already shared about Rumble change date has been taken into consideration. IF you wish to also vote in a poll, here is a link:

I'd rather not worry about the seed rankings so much and just get right into the new rumble system ASAP. We all know the results of the current system will be mostly random anyway. We're upset because we just had a major cock-up on top of having to play in the current system.
Honestly, this "solution" feels like you're just punishing us some more. I'd be shocked if many players are happy with it. Please don't keep us in the old system for another cycle.

Your current rumble is NOT clean and inherently broken due to sandbagging. This is why you keep losing players kong.

Thank you for the heads up and it's great that extra testing time is happening. Too bad whiners are the first to post! ROFL!

I don't think that's a good reason for a delay,a lot of the rankings are not fair with or without this bug it's always been like that so beeing seeded doesn't mean much if you can't maintain your rank, the sooner you run the new format the sooner guilds will rank in the place they deserve I like to think that if you run the new format next rumble the rankings will be fixed for the one in april

I mean if the devs think they need more time for teting, that's one thing. But don't pretend that putting us through another cycle of the current system is doing the players any favors.

So because you guys screwed up the current rumble, we gotta deal with the old broken system again. You guys have to stop punishing your players for your screw ups.

What a crappy excuse kong, not impressed in the slightest

The bug that happened in Rumble was unfortunate but was not related to the upcoming changes. This is in no way a dismissal of the sandbagging issue, but because the upcoming changes will use a previous Rumble as seeding, it is, in many ways, better that the last rumble before the new format NOT be affected by the bug. This is why the Rumble changes were pushed out further.
My goal is to build a community that focuses on good communication and player-influenced development; excessive negativity and toxicity has a tendency to detract others from this purpose.
I cannot promise that the game will always be perfect, but I can promise that we'll always try and I'll always push for changes in favor of the community's feedback.

It doesnt matter what rumble you base it on the first rumble under new system will be based on sandbagging positions anyway!

Kopi, then you gotta realize that punishing top players with an inherantly broken system and dangling a carrot of "we want to be better!" is getting insanely old.
We have been waiting for change for a very long time, and Kong keeps saying "Yes! We want to address this! ...tomorrow. For now, here's a SEP and some turds."
You're literally handing us turds and telling us to stay frosty.

Please reconsider the decision of pushing out the rumble changes!
The whole reason that players want a different rumble format is because the ranking and match making system is broken. The new rumble format will hopefully change this. Don't punish us because of last night's rumble glitch by delaying the new rumble format! The old ranking system was already broken so it won't be able to seed properly anyway!

Won't be missing this old system.

Not good enough. Don't use a broken system to seed the "new" rumble rankings. Do it based on deck strength (or even SFC ratings or Siege rankings would be better than old broken rumble rankings). Give us the new rumble that was promised to us and stop making excuses.

With all of the negativity stemming from Rumble changes being pushed out to April 12, I want to make sure I state this clearly:
The new rumble format has *initial* seeding based on *previous rumble performance.* This would mean that many, many guilds would go into the new Rumble format seeded off of an inaccurate score. Do you want this?
I understand that with Sandbagging being an issue, many people feel there is no difference any way. State your stance and let me know. I will make sure all player concerns are voiced. Unfortunately, I am not a programmer or game designer on this team and cannot personally make these changes.

It is impossible to achieve an accurate initial seeding with the current rumble system. (Sandbagging per se is not the problem, but this really isn't the place to have that argument.) If the new system is ready to go, let's just jump into it.

Yes, change it already. It should have been changed for this rumble, if not months ago. The current and previous rumble outcomes have little bearing on the ranks, as they are already bad in the first place. So the argument to prevent bad information going in is faulty, it already is bad in the first place! The negativity you see is from people being upset that it is taking so long to address and take in feedback that has been given almost a year ago.

Yes! I want this!
Please do not delay the new rumble format. The old ranking system was terrible, that's why a new format is needed. With sandbagging and random chance, ranking in the old system was broken, regardless of last night's glitch. Please roll out the new rumble changes ASAP!
