I’ve played for a year and a half and have spent quite a bit but still didn’t qualify last time around. Somewhat frustrating. Perhaps it’s because I used different characters equally when starting out instead of focusing on one? Again sorry for asking as I’m sure it’s been covered ad nauseum.
Arena level 16.

As in the level of the character? Sorry I’m a bit slower and older haha. Like my Family Guy Peter is level 13. That needs to he 16 to qualify? If so, yikes! Been playing for a year and a half.. time to focus!
Thanks again

You need to have achieved the SFC to participate in Clash events. You enter SFC at arena level 16. S'all we know.

tbh I'm a li'l bit confused with all these rankings too - its not just you Cheathamhill.
Im SFC but my xp bar shows Lvl 14 but next to my name in guild it shows a crown with 16. So have a lot of other players, in fact i've never seen anyone with a different no. on their crown....what happened to 15? Is there a 17?
This clash has a cap of SFC 20?? what does that mean? Am I playing or not? I guess I'll just find out when the clash comes out

The clash is available to anyone in SFC. XP level and Arena level are not the same thing. SFC is arena level 16 (it's the highest it goes).
The cap at 20 refers to the starting level in the clash event itself. Starting levels are determined by your placement in SFC when the event begins (how many crowns you have, actual SFC ranking, etc).
Hope this helps :)

"Rematch prevention for battles in future Guild Rumbles has been adjusted: players should no longer face the same individual more than once within the same match." That is fantastic! Thks! It just took 3 years to figure this one out

Both of this is great news!
Especially that we will not face the same opponent in rumble again makes me really happy, THANKS!

Are Power Cards the same thing as Pre-Combos? If not, do Pre-Combos get the buff?
Thanks in advanced.

precombo and power cards one in the same.you just need to have reached sfc to qualify and those who keep complaining about whale only well don't do the event don't make the tiers and don't get the rewards yeah it'll take longer for you to get their rewards but the chances of you playing them in sfc is pretty slim so why worry about it?!?

"Omg another event for whales, boo hoo. Have pity for me because its an event where even f2ps benefit the same, but requires more work that is worth doing, but i wouldn't do it because pointing out something obvious would be better to do than actually think logically"
You have to realise that whales are going to benefit in any event because of their powerful decks, its basically the elephant in the room. Also realize that most people who do the event won't even come close to being in that league, let alone outside of clash with the new mythics that arent always guranteed to have good synergy anyways.
F2Ps have about the same chance to benefit from this along with CTPs and PTWs; it just requires more work which is well worth the time spent. I've done both clashes that have been done, and im currently at 400 super mythic stones as a ftp. Sure, it is tough, but it isn't impossible to not benefit as the milestone rewards are just as good and only require the points given which is generous considering a loss gives you the same amount of points that would be given if a win took place 1 level below.
Thats my 2 cents on that

Fantastic! Huge improvement in Rumble game play. Thanks AT!
Now if you dev folk could do a similar shuffle for the Siege event, that would be wonderful too!

> While I applaud having new events like these, I have to say that I ultimately found both of the Clashes to be very frustrating. Specifically, while I love the fact that it gives us an opportunity to use little-used combos, any advantage from having the special combos gets outweighed by the opponent being able to go first with no sleep delay. I happen to randomly have a lot of the special combos in both Winter and Burobu and thought I would do great, but an opponent with a strong deck, even if he or she has NO Winter Clash cards, will one shot my opening card and I never even get a chance to make the special combos. It would be much more fun if we got to go first, or if there was sleep delay. Otherwise it kind of ruins the point of having the special combos; in fact, many people in my guild did well just running strong PC decks and ignoring the special combos. Just my 2 cents.
Not my experience at all. The first Clash event held, I had almost none of the buffed combos and got blowed away by the "ambush" opening; but in the second Clash event, I had a pretty good number of the buffed combos and I did really well. Putting a fat-azz HP card or buffed PC in slot one, and building as many buffed combos as you can in other slots is the name of the game. Fun game play and sweet Milestone rewards!

Did the Devs give any reasoning for the change?

Impossible. Because some islands have less than 10 people. So how would you perform rest of matches if you already meet all of them?
|
|
|
metadata
@ModchiKopi why was the change for rumbles that keeps being matched to the same person in a same round not included in the siege? I faced the same person twice on an island that had 10 people on it. I can completely understand if the island has less than 10 people but if the island has 10 or more then I should not have to face the same person twice. Especially if it is a ridiculously tough opponent. Please ask the devs to address this issue in siege as well. Thanks.

I realize this is impossible if the opponent only has 4-6 people on an island, but I just played the same deck 4x on an island with 14 people on it and played another 2x. That kind of sucked since it was a mostly quad Futurama PC deck on a Futurama island.

I think we're in the minority on this one. If I had to guess, the reason is a handful of people complained and it was an easy "fix."
Personally, I don't like the increased chance that I'll have to face the opposing guild's toughest player, nor do I like losing the ability to beat some of their weaker opponents over and over again.
