Basically, a new shuffle is performed - it resets all the elements of the shuffle to un-matched and starts over.
A small footprint way to do this is to keep a mutable list of opponent's a player has faced; when a player attacks an island, an array is created including each opponent located on the island that is not on the list; if the result of this cross-check is an array with zero elements, all the opponents on the island are removed from the mutable list and added to the array. In any case, a random drawing is made from the array, and the selected opponent is added to the mutable list.

Still no change to the ranked tiers on the winter clash? So, it's still mainly designed to give super mythic stones and mythic item stones to whales. Good to know all of our feedback matters

Personally I prefer the chance to get revenge on someone I've lost to in rumble as well as beating a weaker opponent multiple times in rumble. As for Siege I think it would hinder the tactical strategy of placing stronger defenders on certain islands if the chance of opponents facing them is reduced. Perhaps a new guild challenge should be created where you fight each guild member only once or something?
