Good morning,
I am really wondering about the rewards given out in this rumble or are they always repeating? It's a Dales Artillery and the Nanny Natalia again

im glad it is now i can have a fuse :) also 2/2 wins so far, last one was 50/50 participation! loving this rumble!
Also its always the same reward till next bge btw except when they screwed up a while back
So far been one of our best rumbles ever, have a chance to be in top 50, so long as not a whale opponent on final rumble (crosses fingers)

its a very good epic/leg why are you complaining? There are alot worst ones it could have been btw! Fyi last armed rumble had a better reward tho, that BB card is a beast, golden shield to all armed, shock, and a ton of bodyguard (also even tho its semi old it works with all the new combos ;)
Then again this new one is the equivalent of it but a FG item, be glad its a new leg/ (old epic i know but still a good one to block the bomb) theres a good reason too (NO NEW EPIC were added this bge)

Thanks for those replies who answered my question and didn't assume I was complaining.

Thought you had fixed the matchmaking since haven't seen complaints about it recently. Then this rumble started. Ranked 60-70 and facing guilds ranked 11-30 or 100+. Not very interested in playing an event where outcomes are win by 10k+ points or lose by 10k+ points.

I still think pool play is the fairest of all. Just created pools of 11 guilds so they can battle each only once. You can then promote or relegate to higher or lower level of play based on the results. (e.g. The top 3 guild got promoted and the bottom 3 guilds get relegated. The 5 guilds in the middle stay in that pool.)

Then that would have taken BBW centuries to try for #1, like moving 10 places a month for 1000 years. It would take some dedication and persistence and after many generations, only to be met with defeat at the end of that...

No change is without downsides but they can just change the way that new guilds get slotted.
That's a small price to pay for 10 competitive matches, IMO.

BEST RUMBLE EVER! we only lost to 3 guilds, Green Lotus, White Lotus, and Osteria 3. FINAL MATCH WE WON BY 100 ish points TO OSTERIA 3 WOWIE PHOTO FINISH SO PROUD OF OUR GUILD. We set all kinda records this match, i think we made the top 50 in points or came really close. Feels so good, matchups were very fair this time, i think they improved the matchup system! I hope everyone had a good rumble, we had a fantastic fun trip and we coming for top 25 next rumble :) Siege also went well! 4 islands down to their 0!
MMR 33, #60 in points, i wish the rewards were based on MMR not points, sometimes you get a bad hand, sometimes people have life problems and such that they can't join the first match.
However, the top 50 spot, bad matchup by kong one of the worst i ever seen.

**ModchiKopi** I have two questions. Firstly, I don't see any purpose in 10 rounds of rumble if only the *last* round ranking matters (final). Am I missing fuzzy averaging arithmetic? It's tough to get a guild-full of players to participate in 10 rounds every 12 hrs. And I understand Kong wants to **increase** siege/rumble frequency? Secondly, I also find it confusing how a round loss can send you back 200+ rank, but a win moves us up 50‐70? With the majority of players in my guild in the US we almost always had the next higher ranked round overnight. Obviously there's 2 dozen time zones, so I refer to the previous question of why 10 rounds. Siege works out just fine, one round for 24 hours.... anyway, thanks, just curious

Well, I'm not ModchiKopi but I can answer a few of those question.
Your final Rumble standing is the sum of all Victory Points awarded from each of the 10 matches. Click on "Points" to see how many points the Top 100 Guilds scored.
What are Victory Points? The simple answer is the number of points awarded for each match, based on where your guild lands on the Matching ranking.
The complicated answer is contained in these link threads: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/727066-general/topics/878105-throwdown-tips-tricks?page=3#posts-12516940
Those links should also answer your 2nd question about how the "Matching" ranking (MMR) works. It was designed to prevent guilds from purposedly losing in order to get easier matches in later rounds.
As for 12-hour Rumble rounds, this is actually a lot less frequent than it used to be. Previously it was a match every 8-hour and before that, there were 6-hour Rumble rounds. So 12-hour rounds are actually a luxury!
