People say they glad not to see HP boost 50%.
Think again, the 1 hit KO are still not gonna be easy that's for sure because that extra HP has been replaced by a bodyguard which protects punch and gas, I think it's better than HP boost myself.

I noticed Zapp Brannigan does not have any addicted combos yet, do you think there will be new ones once the addicted BGE is out?

We are curious. We have been on zen help site. Bodyguard is described as being FIRST to activate. Shield seems to get hit first before bodyguard. If this mechanic is suppose to be this way then zen help needs an update to say first after bunker and shield. Otherwise bunker and shield need to be protected by bodyguard if bodyguard activates first. Appreciate any help with the bodyguard bge coming up for clarity.

Food Addict Leela should be an Amy combo as it was Amy in Leela's body in that episode.

I don't interpret the Zendesk description of bodyguard to say that it's the first to activate. It specifically says, "*Blocks the first (x) amount of damage from Bomb, Punch, and Gas.*" I take that to mean that if the incoming damage source exceeds the amount of bodyguard, then the first (x) amount of damage is blocked and the rest passes through.
As you say, shield and bunker seem to take damage first before bodyguard (and also before sturdy). That is unfortunate from the perspective of the damage recipient, but works to the advantage of the damage dealer. Personally, I'd like shield/bunker to be the defense of last resort, but I can deal with whatever as long as the behavior is consistent.

why not give both fry and zap a combo based on their love, death by snu snu would be a great option, alternatively they could have a combo based on their love for leela.
Tina has got addict combo based on he addicted love for boys so why should zap and fry not obtain combos based on their love for leela or love in general

I *hate* this BGE. In my opinion, the bodyguard effect is way too strong. For example, if your opponent combos a card to an addicted combo with 60 health, that means that this card now has 20 bodyguard. Of course it also shield its neighbours, which means that there are 3 cards now that are basically immune to punch (How many cards or combos are there with a punch >20?) and gas. Unless the card in the slot directly opposite to one of these cards has the craze skill (and that better be a lot of craze), it has basically no chance of destroying this card. It would be bad enough if you had to play against one such virtually indestructible cards, but against two or three?

You've basically just explained why Shoplift Addict is the OP combo of this BGE, though Cigarette Addicts (with Mythic Characters) has still been winning me a few Arena battles as well.
A widely accepted theory is that they made the Bodyguard buff 30% because so many people complain about how Cigarette Addicts is game-breakingly powerful, and this provides a partial nerf. I'm having more of an issue with the 50% buff to Attack because it's so easy to get outflanked in Arena.

Your theory regarding counteracting Cigarette Addicts might be right, but in that case Kong would make the classical mistake of eradicating a pest by introducing a new and stronger pest. If Kong thinks that Cigarette Addicts is too strong (I do so, and I don't like that combo at all - a combination of a very strong directed attack and high leech is simply too powerful and CA is too strong even without the addicted BGE), they should decrease CA's power. If they feel bad about this, they could hand out goodies for every player who is affected.

I find that Cigarette Addicts is even more OP because of the insane bodyguard level. You basically can't attack it except for directly across, because the leech gives it all of its health back, which keeps the bodyguard too high to take damage from anything with bomb or punch from another lane. Eventually, the crazed takes over and the loss of gas as a full attack skill takes a backseat to how much damage you restore/prevent between leech and the 30% bodyguard.
Now the Wingnuts and Burger Addict Teddy, those are completely nerfed to death.
