The bge is pretty lazy. How about a few events without bge? Let us use our best stuff.
Smaller guilds would bring some freshness to the game too. 50 always has been ridiculous, and why most top guilds are full of people running multiple accounts.

Your opinions aren't wrong of course, but just offering contrarian points:
1) I love having 50 in the guild, we have a really solid group where most, if not all participate. It'd suck kicking a bunch of them
2) Having new BGE's keeps the decks fresh, I have no interest in seeing a bonanza of CA decks. They're already grossly prevalent but the BGE cycle and boosts keeps it within reason so there is actually a motivation to build new decks and you see different combos and decks throughout.

Shield zaps the fun from playing. Plain and simple. Everything just takes more hits and it becomes very defensive. It's a different game with a slight shift in strategy and becomes annoying. Last time you did this it wasn't uncommon to lose by drawing out your deck. There was a lot of feedback here in the forums saying that shield was awful as a bge boost. Did you just ignore this?

I loved the last couple of BGE's where the emphasis was taken away from boosts like craze and cheer, this changed the name of the game completely in my opinion and turned the fights into more of a strategic chess match if you were to win..
I found myself basing my decks around certain different traits than I'm used to using.. I know there was some push back but I loved this new style of matches!! (And come on... if you say up someone on these forums will always say down)

Um, shield stops damage from punch and bomb too. It only stops gas or craze if it blocks everything, but it affects literally every offensive bge buff.

Down
I am down with your statement.

I think the last sheidl was 30%, no? 20% is a significant improvement. Remember too that Shield deteriorates unlike bodyguard or sturdy. You will get through shield with punch and bomb or, at a minimum, whittle it down so your attack goes through. Personally, I don't like it much either though and after all the negative feedback, I was surprised to see it again so soon.

Well, I like it kong! Great job!
There will be creative ways to get that shield down, which I look forward to trying. Thanks
