Uhhh, yeah it is. I just finished my initial 8 fights with 200% bonus and it works exactly as it should.

"Boy am I glad I autoplayed through swole" said no one ever.
I stopped after 2 attacks once I realized there was a problem, so I only missed out on ~20 tokens. No one needs to go spending gems on swole energy, you'll have more than enough if you just pace yourself and wait for your training to complete before attacking in the first few days.

Noticed the same. Not totally sure about the numbers, but I think it was about 15 HP, then Elzar had 46 HP. Thought this may be a planned increase in strength, but now the other heros have just 20 HP. Please check the numbers, with Swole bonus a tripled base HP could escalate massively.

Every swole I buy a refill day 1 and day 2. 400 gems to get training moving along and extra ww coins is a small price to pay.

This is my first SWOLE event, so I'm sorry if the question is stupid, but:
Event lasts 28 days. You have your initial 8 fights, 28 refills + that extra 7hours one.
Which should make 240 fights.
How is it useful to spend gems for an extra 8 or 16 fights?
The extra swole coins you get are coins you would have had later anyway.
Besides, I'm willing to have next ECMC starting before I reach the milestones. Getting milestones today does not give points for the challenge :/

Has it occurred to anyone else that this could be the hacker(s) running around in the code? If their goal is to disrupt the game or damage it's reputation this would fit easily. Also, the more people complain about them, the happier they are, they are attention seeking children after all.
I also would like to +1 the previous poster who asked why you would want the extra fights that badly, the only thing I can think of is if you are seriiusly going for the #1 spot?

It isn’t about ”extra swole coins”. Once you have certain multipliers in place the coins become worthless, and this happens quickly if you’re on the right training schedule.
The reason to have extra fights is because Swole gets increasingly more difficult the higher you get, and you’re likely to hit a wall sooner or later. Using refills and speeding up research early on can make a difference in how far you can make it in the long run by being more powerful sooner. A lot of luck is involved in the AI deals and sometimes it comes down to having to wait for the right hand to be dealt that you can actually beat. Towards the end of swole, refills mean a chance of getting the deal you can win against.
As per your last point, nobody who isn’t trolling you would ever suggest that anyone hold off on swole training in order for a few milestones to count towards ECMC. That would be an exceptionally foolish mistake.

Does the cost of refills increase?
You start faster, but when it comes to compare someone who did 32 fights in 2 days and someone who did 32 fights in 4 days, aren't they at the same number of SWOLE coins, levels of training and number of points (assuming they won every fight)?
Is there any progress difference between:
- 16 fights on day 1, 16 fights on day 2, 8 fights on day 3, 8 fights on day 4
- 8 fights on day 1, 8 fights on day 2, 16 fights on day 3, 16 fights on day 4
?
Does it change anything to use refills to hit your wall sooner and have more time to face it than using refills when you actually hit the wall?
> As per your last point, nobody who isn’t trolling you would ever suggest that anyone hold off on swole training in order for a few milestones to count towards ECMC. That would be an exceptionally foolish mistake.
Analysis entirely mine.
Milestone 3 (10 points) will be reached before next ECMC, no discussion about it.
If next ECMC starts in 1d8h (not announced, but likely), I can have it started before hitting Milestone 4 (20 points). This milestone is worth 290 ECMC points (on average with SEP).
Milestone 5 (30 points) is worth 315 ECMC points (also average) and would be reached before ECMC starts if I refill on day 1 and 2 of SWOLE.
I did 32k points on last ECMC. 2% of those points are not to completely disregard for me if I want to push a bit more on next one.
And it just "costs" me "not refilling" on day 1 and 2 of SWOLE :D

A quick start is necessary because of the ridiculous training times. You want to start asap to go for high training levels, with 7 being pretty much max without using gems to shorten the training. The first days are just about getting a high token bonus, way more than you need in the long run, just to get the high level training rolling early on. E.g. I aim for 3 Heros at training level 7 in the end (+ some more L5s). The sheer training time for just 3 Heros from 0 to 7 is more than 20 days. Add the time needed to obtain enough token bonus to never have any training gaps + some L5 Heros and the whole Swole time is pretty much over. Every day you lose early on means the loss of a later day of fighting with high bonus, that's a lot lost efficiancy.
tl;dr: Swole is all about time management.

Ok I get it. What score do you aim with such strategy?
I'm not sure at all I can reach level 100, no idea of how hard it will get. I started playing 2 months ago, have only 1 mythic (Western Lewis from Mom's box last week), only 1 quad legendary and clearly not enough cards to focus on one "world".
Guess this SWOLE will be a test for me and I'll do better on next one!
Edit: Had a look at what level 100 looks like, I'm nowhere near this :)

I aim for 90+ (never got to 100), but that's using a deck with only armed items and Zapps and Benders for Assassin Bender and Unsharp Scissor both with CM2. 3 Mythics (Bender, Zapp, 1 Item), all other Benders maxed Legs, Zapps single or non fused. The items are either maxed old cards or new not maxed cards with similar stats to the old maxed ones. I.e. the most stupid spam deck I'm capable to built =]
Swole is very different. Usually you get stuck in between and may have to fight the same stage for several days. Progress comes either with the next training or just by the AI getting a bad deal. Always keep an eye on your training schedule and rather fight with low chances on your max level (hoping for sheer luck) instead of farming when there is no need to. The most important aspect is the training, but as it should fit your deck, it's hard to give general advise. I have no idea what you can expect from a kinda fresh card pool, but I'd guess about 60 can be seen as a good final score (+-10?). When you feel there is no more progress to reach, consider to just fight low levels until the end of swole - you could earn plenty wonder wharf coins by that.

Thanks MisterSinister. I'll see how far I go. I guess if I'm stuck at 59 I'll try hard to reach 60, but if I hit a wall at 51 instead, I will go farming immediately.
I'm depressed to see that even with your deck/strat you can't reach 100.

If it helps: The multiplier does not apply on the "Battle Rewards" seen on the event page. The effect is only visible when you effectively win the fight and get the reward.

As soon as I bitched it got fixed. Woo-hoo?

Regarding the AI Heros:
Food Truck Peter 3 has 35 HP, Give (Hijack) 2 and Cripple all 1
Jimmy Pesto 3 has 35 HP, Heal all 2 and Punch 2
Elzar 3 has 48 HP, Give (Bodyguard) 2, Heal 3 and Shield 4
Elzar seems a bit off imo. He has no "all" skills but he has 3 skills with relatively high values. Hard to say, but the skills seem more or less balanced, so why does he have about 37% more HP than the other two Heros? Is that on purpose?

So what’s happening about this? I had to spend 600 gems to get 3 characters to lv 2 because the multiplier wasn’t working, 600 gems gives me 24 attacks on day 1 with enough swole coins to level most of my characters to level 2 but instead I’m further behind because of having no multiplier on my first 24 attacks, I expected a mail to be sent to everyone with the missing swole coins or the gems spent on refills refunded but it’s just gone silent, the longer it’s left the more difficult the calculation will be is nothing going to be done except 1 extra day is going to be added?

When it was clear that I wasn't getting the right number of coins, I stopped playing and figured I'd check back later. I was four attacks in. And I noticed it at four attacks in as that is how many attacks you need to do Hero#2 1=>2 when following the "optimal" training guide. I was short when I shouldn't have been short.
Any particular reason you kept going? I mean, if Kong was known for "making things right", then sure I guess... but that isn't the impression I get.
*While Kong does often throw us a bone when there are problems, I think is is generally a fraction of what the affected actually lost and the unaffected also get it, so still in your best interest to remain in the 'unaffected' group.

There is also the key aspect of focusing on 1 or at most 2 shows and just a few key skills.
As an example, I and many people build Cigarette Addicts decks for swole because you can just focus on training 5 heroes: gas, craze, leech, and hank and Bobby forKOTH health and attack buffs. Take those heroes that you need the most up to level 2 fir the coin bonuses, then just go for the buffs after the 1st few days, you will be getting more than enough coins in the long run.
Once swole is over, you can spend gems on finishing up your card, so start hoarding them right now.
