I was playing a rumble match and had just put down my first card. I was immediately told I lost and redirected to the Arena screen for some reason.

Has there been any changes since the last Rumble? Was any of the feedback evaluated?
I still think that margin of victory/loss should be part of the MMR ladder equation (e.g. if you lose by a lot, the MMR movement is a lot but if you lose by a little, the MMR movement is a lot less).
This woud make for much more competitive matches, which makes it a lot more fun, IMO.

I guess there were no changes in the MMR formula. We lost our first match by 594 points and we drop over 4000 points on the MMR ladder.
Because of this, we should crush the next guild that we're matched against.

When the rumble matchmaking changed, the time between matches changed from 30 minutes to 60 in order to give the devs a chance to evaluate the matchmaking. When will the downtime return to being 30 minutes?

They finally got the opponent's MMR score to show instead of their points rank, so maybe this will be next.

I logged on to fight with 41 minutes left and it gave me the "waiting fot opponet". Why cant i fight then? That is more than enough time to play, especially if you use the auto play features. Why?

Looking at the time stamp of your post and assuming you posted here right after that happened, the 41 minutes left was the timer for the next match to start. In other words, there was no battle going on when you tried to fight. There is currently a one hour matchmaking delay between battles. It used to be only 30 minutes, but got extended to one hour due to glitches when they revamped the rumble. Anyway, it appears you were trying to do your battles during that one hour matchmaking delay.

My guild has been ranked in points between 60 and 80 for all of this rumble but have been matched against guilds under 40 and over 100. I would think we would be matched mostly against guilds between 40 and 100, but instead every match is outside of this range...either a win by 10k+ or a loss by 10k+

You're not matched on points. You're matched on your MMR (matchmaking rank) score. That said, I do think the MMR score's formula could use some tweaking.

I think the formula need a complete overhaul. As I say..majority of our matches should be within this range. However, every match has been outside this range which results in non-competitive matches. Matchmaking has been the only complaint in rumble feedback for past 3 rumbles and doesn't seem that much being done about it

I see what your saying, now. I wasn't sure if that's what you were getting at or if you didn't know about the MMR.
To be fair, the matchmaking isn't the only complaint since they revamped the rumble. Originally they showed each guild's points rank on the main rumble screen which misled people to thinking the matchmaking was extremely far off. They "fixed" that to show your guild's MMR score but kept showing the opposing guild's points rank labeled as their MMR. That one lasted for a while. In fact, this is the first rumble where both guilds' MMR scores are actually shown. Hopefully with that out of the way, they can start looking at the matchmaking.

Here are a few threads on MMR.
