I'm curently paragon 39 and i was going throught some of my next paragon requirements and the requirements for paragon 47 of 250 trials just made me wonder if i missread or something .
i have been playing for 45 days and i'm barely around the 95 trials done , so that means that even if take 2 more weeks to reach and complete paragon 46 i will probably need to sit around for months not really making any progress or unlocking something new like the new perks or tier 3 pets .
will i really be stuck on that paragon for potentially months ? T2 classes are nice and all but i doubt they will make me stay interrested for that long .
Maybe i'm overreacting but none of the previous paragon requirements were unfair , even the previous one wich required a certain ammount of trials , they flowed pretty well with my natural progression , so i'm a bit taken aback by such a sudden completly time gated paragon .
what are your thoughts ?

Paragon requirements are a bit all over the place, and can be really different for different people. I remember being stuck for a long time because my next Paragon level was locked away behind Dust requirements. I complained on this forum about how this is something I have no control over (trials didn't exist yet) whereas I had already cleared the requirements for the next 6 or so following levels.
I'm disappointed the Devs didn't fix this, and in fact made it worse with new requirements that are basically just a timed gate.
Ultimately the issue is that the Devs want some content gates that aren't auto cleared by people who have been playing long. Progress was much slower before, so 250 trials wasn't a harsh target versus raw mystery requirements.

If it is any comfort at all - in the long run you really want to do as many trials as possible anyway and you gain things that will prove invaluable in many ways. So even if it slows you down now, see it as a double investment into future runs.

Be thankful you weren't around for when Dust gates mattered. Those were the true pain in the ass.
