Im sitting currently at 1.07 e203 mysts and 567 attributes.
Items: full falconer set, fiery ring, the great journey(feet), torc of privilege(neck).
I just unlocked the class and am following the guides from the wiki but im making 0 progress.
Im supposed to get the doppelganger to 180 before bursting but it takes ages for the thing to lvl up(even with full falconer set), its currently sitting at lvl 139 and barrely moving.
In the time it takes me to lvl him up to 140, my exorcist earns e3 of progress.
Am i doing something wrong or do i need to farm up more(attributes, lvl up items) before using the class?

Ice Ring is extremely helpful. Let it sit for 5-6 hours piling up iterations of nullzone, ring of power, and syphon power. Then do the burst. Early e200, you don't really need to sit to get great results, but eventually you can't get away from that.

I also ran with Exorcist all the way up through about e250 mysts before going into (and writing a guide for) Abolisher. (... And I think I did an Umbramancer run or two around when Exorcist burned out at e240-250?) And, like the guide says, I know that Abolisher works great at going from e250 up through e300, but I don't know how well it will work at much below that point.
Until you get up to runs where you're going over about e520 total mana, Exorcist will probably be the way to go. Abolisher runs will benefit a lot from the extra Sources Experience from the higher total mana.
Also, have you been running your Challenges? Challenge rewards, *especially* Army of Two (e250 mysts) and the three Children of the Night runs (e260 mysts), will help out a ton in making Abolisher efficient.
