So hear this story:
yesterday I came back from work and tried to log in the game. And there popped out a "you are a cheater" message, and my account was blocked.
What have i done?
Answer: i am a free player. And I was actually doing quite good in the last event. Of course, It required a lot of effort, I played all the week end, several hours both on saturday and sunday. Sunday evening stayed up after midnight and finally beated that last boss from the 2nd part of the event, and even the first boss of the last part.
Obviously "someone" or some bot decided that a real player couldn't achieve that in less than 2 months. Or didn't have the right to, without spending money.
So they just blocked me out of the game.
I sent a message and asked for explanations (honestly don't even care about the game anymore, since they messed the event for me without any reason, I won't come back. But it's insulting, and deserves an apology).
No answer.
Wrote to Kong to complain. They are silent too.
Great concept.
Reminds me of russian opponents that are jailed when they start to be too well known.

I feel your pain, Telca. I'd be livid if it happened to me.
As a free player (not counting the 9 Kreds special) I just got my badge for 1 month with the game and got about halfway into the second chapter of this event, so being able to finish the second chapter after two months with some effort and luck sounds reasonable.
Usually a bot automatically marks an account as cheating based on certain criteria. A user who feels this was in error can then request a manual review of the account.
Kong simply passes your message on, so I'm not surprised there was no response. They appear to have abandoned the Kong forum as well.
Your best bet is to send them a message on Facebook. I found them somewhat responsive there, though you have to keep at it. It may be that they don't speak English and translating takes a while. Others say Discord is more responsive, but I don't have access to that so cannot comment.
Anyway, if I were in your shoes I'd try that and at least get an explanation. Who knows, maybe they'll compensate you so much for the error that you'll return :)

I received an enquiry from Kong assistance asking to repeat the story. So I did, and reiterate my request for an explanation from de devs and an apology.
@brobot247 : no idea, as i am not even going to try going back. There are other games out there, other platform even, if necessary. No need to waste further time with people that can't even recognize their own faults.

so, for the couple of people that expressed their interest in this happening, to date, neither myself nor the kong staff have received word from the game's support.
Talk about "support".
And yes, i do remember the game id (rtaav) but that doesn't really matter, as there seem to be just a money black hole behind the game that cares not for anything else.

Okay what the fuck? So you won't get a response? Your account is not looked into? So if you spent alot of money on this game and this happens to you... Than there is not anything (except for a lawsuit perhaps?) that you can do?!?

I had a couple replies form kong saying they would look into the matter.
almost two months have passed, and no answer to my last e-mail where i asked them if they would at least take any sort of steps to complain with the developping company (in the form of a warning, at least); I guess the paid advertising on the front page is enough for them to wipe the board of this bill.
But I did receive an invitation to join Kartridge and a 20% off coupon. Great.

just to add to the fuming pyre: at the beginning of all this, i wrote to game's support to ask some sort of explanation.
Well guess what. They never replied.
But now, i'm receiving their SPAM in my mailbox! advertising game's promotional stuff!
That really takes the prize.
(of course, i did write to kong support signaling this. But apparently these too decided to go underwater. No more answers from their part either.)

The exact same thing you are describing happened to me about 3 weeks ago.
I wrote to support about it, but unlike you got an answer saying I was using skripts to gain an unfair advantage.
After writing a second mail denying this and telling them to check their logs for my account and to improve their methods for finding cheaters they unbanned my account and compensated me with 3 epic chests.
The whole thing really sucked and it took them 2 days to resolve it. I was mad as f and almost quit the game too.

Well, glad for you.
From my side, the only thing i asked was a polite apology (because i really gave it all that week end, and didn't have the hearth to come back after they messed it up).
But they never had the "in-between legs" to do it.

with the incoming closure of the forums I thought it worthwhile to dig up this thread as a fair warning for all players out there.
Won't do big speeches, all was said in the OP, just to be fair i did log in into the game beforehand and confirmed the account was still banned. *
So, if you plan to spend money here, with flash disappearing end of the year and game devs being unresponsive, know what may happen to you.
