Here's what three years^ of Free to Play looks like, current as of this post:
[ [Year 2](https://www.kongregate.com/forums/889887-general/topics/1828237-two-years-of-f2p) ]
[My deck](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18hVSCIzWouVJYQzepyzUtnEzo2lgMuO573e7Ii3PZ5o/edit?usp=sharing). This is a copy of the deck I did last year that's been updated to be current. I added the Gold Star Mythics as best I can. I'm missing some data on some of them though. I tried to keep true to the original formatting. Ryukurai, let me know how I did?
Biggest change here is I've had some luck recently with draws, including last night, and have picked up 4 of the 5 legendaries I was missing last year. Now just missing Holiday Laura. Holiday Joanna was last night's surprise and I think my main challenge will be remembering to slot her in.
Spookies are all stronger across the board because I'm almost never buying any other packs in the Cake and Coin Shops, and using flair to double TPS production. I don't know if this is for certain but I expect I'll move on to Harvest after Spookies are maxed/sufficiently high enough. Harvest has far fewer characters so will max faster, including critically, getting Harvest Lumbergh or Harvest Peter up to a useful level for Work the Weekend TPS mission Level 6. Currently I'm hoping for Default Lumbergh to fill that requirement (level 20 legendary manager) but for whatever reason he is very far behind the Default Bobs in Daily Bonus Day 16 draws.
Stored resources:
3,435 Flair
5,276 Coins
257 Cake
2,455 Donuts
3,070 Leftovers
5,227 Energy Drinks
I'm currently focused on getting TPS Legendaries up to where I need them for TPS Level 6 missions. Hence the large store of resources; an individual TPS Shop purchase is quite expensive at higher levels.
My Case of the Mondays Level 6 mission has 8 legendaries (Sports Lawrence, 2 Holidays and 5 Spookies) but they are only generating about 70% of the reuqired reports. Still a ways off.
Inbox contents:
1 x admin grant from a bad TPS-XP-in-non-TPS-draw draw
8 x small packs, milestones from long ago events
3 x medium packs, milestones from long ago events
1 x large packs, milestones from long ago events
1 x large packs, leaderboard rewards from recent events
10 x giant packs, leaderboard rewards from recent events
4 x gold packs, leaderboard rewards from recent events
9 x epic challenge draws
3 x legendary challenge draws
I save up character draws and then complete the character challenge. I use coins and cake to buy Spooky packs, partly because they are strong and partly because I'm getting the Spooky legendaries high enough to use for TPS mission Level 6s.
I have more in my inbox than usual because of the recent weeks-long period where there were no challenges to complete. I had a lot more of everything but I pull about 600 points worth last night working to complete the current character challenge. 19 TPS Legendary purchases.
All my Default commons have crossed the [half way](https://www.kongregate.com/forums/889887-general/topics/1781667-psa-the-halfway-point-for-character-xp) point. Spooky Brian has overtaken them though and will almost certainly be the first non-TPS character maxed out.
I've been using [Google Opinion Rewards](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.paidtasks) to gather free Play store credits which I then use to buy the cash Mythic bundle when the next one comes out. This makes me less _pure_ F2P and more _grey market_ F2P. No real cash has left my wallet. Well, I'm still doing the surveys but there have been very few cash Mythic bundles since last year and they were all close to last year's post, IIRC. I am not sure we're going to see any new ones, or any repeats. I have some survey credit built up ready to go.
___
My purpose with this post is to give new F2P players an idea of where they can get to while remaining F2P. You don't need to spend money to have fun.
I'm still finishing in the Top 50 frequently but not all the time. It depends sometimes on how much effort I put into playing well.
___
^Roughly. I started about late Apr 2017, so it's a bit more than three years.

Very detailed. Good reference info for noobs and veterans.
Thx bud. Exhausted to think the effort put into that. Lol

You're welcome. Not all that much effort as it's largely cut and pasted from the previous year's post. Longest part was figuring out how to add the Gold Stars to Ryukurai's sheet so that the sheet works.

appearance wise it seems good minus the occupation for a few im guessing youre not sure of
....function wise it doesnt look like they were added to the (hidden) event t1-t3 pages at all so they wont be able to change the values on the event layouts page....
unfortunately my only computer that could handle the formatting is long dead XP
my phone is too difficult to do that many changes with too....so i cant do any of that myself to release one last sheet :P
but since your goal was showing your deck that works just fine XD

Correct. I am missing some data.

I did not do that. Didn't know about the hidden pages.

Yeah, I'm not likely to do the update-to-hidden-pages part for exactly that reason. RIP your computer. :-(

Studog, I have a question about the main building: have you done the expansion to the other buildings? And, if you have, what effect, if any, does it have on your performance in the weekly events? I have been playing a little longer than you but not as diligently or strategically but I have not expanded because when expansion became available to me, there was a lot of discussions in the forums about how buggy it is. In the past two years I haven’t seen expansion discussed in the forums much at all. So I’ve been assuming that trying the expansion would be frustrating and not worth my time. Your thoughts?

I have done the expansions, and it has no effect on events.

The bugs were dealt with fairly quickly; the biggest one being that characters assigned to errands were *incorrectly* not available for events. That's long since fixed. Expansion is just extra main content now.
I play the explansions because there's nothing else to do in main beyond collecting the Daily ToDo flair; the main benefit of the expansions is you can play a lot of offline and all-floors (vs all-floors in assigned building) characters in other buildings to boost your Initech pennies/staplers production, getting higher on the main leaderboard. The drawback is that now all buildings are required to advance past certain levels. The *meh* is that after level 100, the explansion buildings *are not* required for level advancement so there's a limit to the drawback.
The expansion buildings Epic upgrades are literally decades worth of errands to buy, so there's something to do trickling in all the time.
Hm. Also expansion buildings have an epic upgrade that boosts all performance. And some [expansion levels have rewards as well](https://www.kongregate.com/forums/889887-general/topics/917605-list-of-expansion-bonuses).

JohnV: before you decide to expand... make sure you have plenty of building plans crafted so you can buy the floors and woe through the new(-to-you) requirement of building plans for the new building every 5 levels (at least until level 100).
