Do u guys buy epic upgrades? I buy the generators, at least twice, but at what point does it make sense to buy or not to buy the stapler % or all floors upgrades rather than just keeping rewards in a balanced ratio and getting the reg bonus?

There are a couple different spreadsheets listed in these threads. They need to give us a files section. LOL.
If you search “Kung fu spreadsheet” it will bring up a thread with a link. If you post links now, I think your message gets flagged.

There was a previous thread on the efficacy of the stapler bonuses and the main jist is that it loses “power” pretty quickly as you level it up.
If you are going to purchase all-floor upgrades, make your purchases such that you end in a “1/2 level” purchase. There’s a thread expanding on the specifics on the math, but at a glance... the first purchase of a level (to be at “1/2”) gives you a multiplicative effect in production, but the second one is additive.
Regarding your original question, I buy as many epic upgrades as possible until it gets later in the event. Back when currency challenges were still running, I even had a small spreadsheet to decide which route gave the better option (buy next epic or keep balancing).
Now though, like you, once I get to the 1124 price, I start buying all-floor upgrades. I don’t bother with the stapler bonuses unless I got the LBGs early as well and my T1 generation is high.

Something that would be cool, Baby Yoda could probably make this happen. To update one of the spreadsheets to determine when you should stop converting T2 to T3. Meaning: it would have to keep track of how many generators you have, what you will earn by selling them at the end of the game. That way you don’t end up upside-down on your conversions.
For me, I don’t like to get any worse than 2:1. Meaning, if you have 2000 T3 after selling your generators, your T2 should be able to convert to at least 1000 more T3. Making 3,000 total T3 possible. Reason being, back converting from this point of 2:1 makes you earn less.
...,ideally you don’t want to get much worse than 1:1, but this will have you pretty lopsided going into the selling of your generators. I just usually let the converting get a little behind, but not too far to slow production.
Maybe the update could allow you to enter the ratio that you prefer to end with?

.....if that comment is referring to me i just wanna say that i used my computer to make the spreadsheets and my computer died....i basically use my phone instead of a computer now but as far as the spreadsheets go i kinda cant do nearly as much on the phone as on the computer and it becomes a hassle instead of fun.....im sorry, its kinda why theres no fully updated sheet with all of the mythics....
as far as the original question goes, i believe strummer's sheet is whats being looked for, it suggests when to buy certain epic bonuses based on what t2s and t3s you currently have...so maybe looking for his mastersheet
....i did add it into my spreadsheets(with a few modifications) if those end up being found as well
but yeah, any time i post a link it gets flagged so i cant give a link to it....
