Please help me with my analysis.
Character and rare currency are not back.
Support doesn’t respond.
Character and flair discounts not posted.
And so on.
Curious what others think of continuing.
For me, I think it’s just can’t quit with this much time invested but I guess that’s mostly the only reason.
One other smaller reason is possibility of fixing above mentioned issues. But now that so much time has past, this game has become pointless other than cake and characters awards.(however, haven’t received character awards last evevt).
Thoughts?

Well, getting a common maxed out will be cool. I got some at 46 and 47. It’s just all the OCD things that keep me around, and that 30 minute thrill (nearly) every Wednesday at 4pm. I’ve got a bunch of TPS maxed out, so it’ll be cool to see the rest finally get higher. And my Spookies are nearly all over 40, with the spookie common nearly maxed out as well. Sooooo, it’s tempting to just see if it goes another year or two to see where it takes me. And there are no similar games I’ve seen that I could switch to.

I mean, I’m all ears for a better game. They did Pocket Politics and it’s sequel, but botched the all-time leaderboard. Adventure capitalist was cool for a little while. Maybe that’s worth going back to. But if they’re all based on flash, they won’t be supported.
I mean, office space is the game with the greatest variety in events, as far as I’m aware. It seems to be an exercise in how low you are willing to let your expectations go. My expectations for this game probably can’t get any lower, so it makes it easier for me to stay with it. That’s not being negative, just real.
While I’m sitting here waiting for the Dr, I was bored enough to see that I’ve played in 179 of 192 events, 93% of the events. Only missed the first 13. We’re coming up on 4 years for this game. That just feels insane!

So I went to achievements and it says May 2017 so that means coming up on four years playing this game I quit for a couple of months when I got the boredom got the best of me so is earlier poster said how low my willing to have my expectations for this game I guess when you have so much time invested you just naturally play it

That’s an honest protralal and assessment I’m looking for to rack my brain around logical and rational reasons on future of office space.
As far as flash is concerned., isn’t that non html based browser and not apps which I have installed to play this game?
I’m not a tech expert.

Thanks, just a regular visit.
I’m very much not a tech nerd any longer. I thought someone recently commented about kongregate being hit hard with layoffs, and the future of many of their games in limbo.

I find that as more players get fed up with the lack of Kongregate involvement/support, I seem to get higher on the leaderboards ;-). This week I’m testing out doing just the bare minimum on the event to see how low I can get on the boards (thinking that might give an indication of how many are actually still playing). I am fortunate in that I have not spent any real money on the game. Just slowly building my character deck, enjoying the camaraderie on the forum, and hoping that post-pandemic there will be a resurgence in developer support. Hope you are all well and safe!

There was a post recently about Kongregate mainly hosting flash games and not having published any plans to account for what happens on the _checks notes_ oh, [12 Jan 2021](https://www.adobe.com/ca/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html) (I misremembered it as 21 Jan 2021). That's a good concern. Hm. Just tried to play [Bloons TD5](https://www.kongregate.com/games/Ninjakiwi/bloons-td-5) and Kongregate or the game is asking me to install a SWF player so I guess Kongregate's plan is to use alternate flash players.
That said, Office Space is a Unity-based mobile game, that started with Kongregate (as their part of the Ultrabit-Kongregate partnership) hosting the forum space. None of that is affected by the recent Death of Flash. So we're "safe".
In fact, maybe the death of flash will drive more people to Office Space? An increase in popularity would certainly be helpful in getting Kongregate to focus attention on the game.

For my part, even though it's taking a long time I'm in the middle of a plan to get TPS Mission Level 6s running, and maxing out Spookies, and I'd like to see that happen. So I keep trudging along.
I haven't started playing the current event yet, so that's a difference in me.
I have to think the ad revenue from the players of the game still makes it a net positive, or Kongregate would pull the plug.
I did just have a bit of fun recently; did an offer wall to pick up a bunch of flair, and when Holiday packs did not materialize in the shop I used the flair to strategically buy warps to finish in the Top 10 in the recent events awarding Holiday packs. Was successful in the first 3 of 4 events; was running low on flair in the 4th and had kinda run out of steam at that point too. Still, I got ( 10 to 20 ) x 3 more Holiday draws that usual, and the strategizing on warp purchases was new and interesting. I also maxed out the Event bonuses so I have all that data first hand for the first time ever.
BUT. I'm waiting for character challenges to cash in my draws and that doesn't seem likely to happen ever. :-(

That’s interesting about flash and good to know studog confirming flash games and hiow this game is operating under the hood.
It’s also very interesting and I guess I’d say inspiring to read all posts in thread contributing their thoughts on how they view this game at this point.
Obviously we’d all like to see it continue, and it’s a shame so many features are missing. Now support is non responsive to add to the list, I’ve really just been curious how others thought about this game.
Seems there is still purpose with decent people and Posts are good to read.

My bug report from a couple of weeks back has had no attention. :-(
I just had a couple of the free draws get lost, so I've submitted a bug for the first one. These usually get actioned pretty quickly and it's no longer the holiday season, so we'll see.

It feels like we’re all playing “Night at the Museum.” The Museum closed hours ago. Lights are off. Security guard is fast asleep. We’re just all messing around, waiting for opening hours.

Of course the ads are not working again and I did the force stop reset my phone turn it off and still not working frustrating unfortunately I don't have the willpower to quit yet

Hi! Im new to the forum and not I'm not sure how to open a new one. I just changed phone and I'm unable to transfer my progress to the new phone.
I am also unable to login via the new phone. But I can login in the website just fine. I emailed support 2x already and they have not responded to me. Any idea what I should do?

random question cause i just had this issue trying to login on a new phone
do you use facebook to login to your kongregate account?
for some reason the game refused to login with facebook no matter how much i tried....but i went into my settings, changed my password so i'd definitely know what it was, and then logged in with email and password instead of facebook and it worked right away.....so i cant help but think their facebook login is broken in game.....

the thing is.... i can only login via facebook(on the website). I keep changing my password and now unable to login with my kongregate account.

all i can say is in game i wasnt able to log in with facebook in game once....i had to use my email and a fresh password....so if you cant recover your password idk what to say....

Make sure your linked to game center or google play and your game should be safe. Facebook can also link in but please back your game up so your safe. Screen shot your info. So you can verify to kongerate if you need to. And pray lol. This game is like walking the plank. Good luck.

As far as I am aware, only connecting to your Kongregate account saves your game to the cloud. I may just be under-informed; I didn't know Facebook was an option. (I'm assuming Game Center is Apple's Google Play equivalent.)

i use facebook to login to my kongregate account....doing so through the game seems to be broken
