Could I ask to stick this thread for the sake of the ability to communicate between men of numbers and men of words?

Why don’t you use the Page on the Wiki? [Here](http://realm-grinder.wikia.com/wiki/Notation).

Pretty easy to figure out if you know what the basic prefixes:
1: U (Un)
2: D (Duo)
3: T (Tre)
4: Qa (Quattuor)
5: Qi (Quinqua)
6: Sx (Se)
7: Sp (Septe)
8: Oc (Octo)
9: No (Nove)
and then the 10s:
10: D (Dec)
20: Vg (Viginti)
30: Tg (Triginta)
40: Qag (Quadraginta)
50: Qig (Quadraginta)
60: Sxg (Sexaginta)
70: Spg (Septuaginta)
80: Ocg (Octoginta)
90: Nog (Nonaginta)
100: Ct (Centi)
turn the letters into a number (e.g. SxQig is 56), then + 1 and x 3. (57 \* 3 = 171)).
the names are Latin, which is similar enough to French to figure out for me.

The letters on the left are used in place of numbers on most games, the numbers on the right tell you how many zeros are in that number (e.g. No is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)

It's on musicfamily.org/realm as far as I know, it's on the wiki, it's basic prefixes and suffixes, it's in my guide, it's on my profile...I'd think it's pretty easy to find a place to convert.

Many people think the letters are just random, but they are abbreviations for actual words.
One day I wanted to have my 6th graders get practice with the steps of long division so I threw a random giant number of 186,235,984,533,234,768,994,234,122 divided by 18.
I told them, "Alright, you guys are working on this one today - One hundred eighty six octillion two hundred thirty five septillion nine hundred eighty four sexillion five hundred thirty three quintillion two hundred thirty four quadrillion seven hundred sixty eight trillion nine hundred ninety four million two hundred thirty four thousand one hundred twenty two - divided by 18"
They were like, oh my god, that's a real thing?!
It took them about 15 mins to do the problem, but they eventually did it and the steps of long division was hammered into their heads, lol
