As it was noticed a few months ago, we have been developing a new mobile app, similar to the browser game you’re all familiar with.
Until now, Cosmos Quest was on limited release, although we’re happy, excited and very proud to announce that Cosmos Quest as of September 19th is now fully globally released.

We’ve partnered with Kongregate to work on a brand-new Cosmos Quest game, a game with heroes, building, time travel…..and even a Black Hole Cannon.
Begin with the discovery of fire and use energy to accelerate growth and evolution, traveling through the ages. Compete in The Nexus and gather enough resources to reach power untold, only when you're there will you discover the truth of the dimensions...
We’re inviting you to conquer the cosmos, and uncover the mystery of the dimensions…

Looks cool. I'm curious to see how it differs from the original CQ.

I believe that a separate team was working on the Mobile game, so it didn't directly take any resources away from the browser game.

Giving it a try now, really great game and I do like how it gets you into the action quickly and it's easy to get a big chunk of UM to get started. Being able to watch ads for currency helps a lot with the f2p side of things, too.
Artwork is very different, but very good, the idle game structure is so much better and more engaging, especially with the artwork for it. Unsure on the hero side of things just yet, finding it a little more difficult to figure out and micromanage than this game. Probably going to end up playing both games now, the main draw for this one is community and familiarity/sunk cost fallacy. :D

A few tips for anyone playing the mobile game - you get a *huge* armount of resources early on as a boost, mostly from completing quests and the first-reward bonus from infinity tower levels.. do not rush to spend it all, though because the gains drop off rapidly after the early boost - learn how the promotions work and make sure to only spend prana on gold heroes where possible, on silver only where you have to, and try to avoid bronze completely. The same does not apply to the use of population, use that very freely to get un-ascended level 20's as a first priority and take it from there, you will end up with loads of population, prana is very scarce.

i've been playing for 2 days and stuck on evo6.
i need more blueprints to unlock research. BP mainly come from conquest, but already maxed it.
more can be gained from orbs if i'm lucky, the tower which is limited to reward once a day, and as low as 5 BP daily from expedition mission.
