Welcome to this weeks patch, today we'll be including a new event, a captcha system and a minor quality of life feature.
**G.A.M.E.S**
Introduced the G.A.M.E.S event which is intended to be part of the Event 2.0 cycle. The event will be live for 48 hours with no rewards and no option to use Event Tickets. Players will be awarded 50 Prana if they can reach 1,000,000 Favour by the end of the event as a thank you for your participation and hopeful feedback.

It quite literally will shape any adjustments we make to the event.
Our current plan is to evaluate the feedback after the 48 hours, and then bring the event back up a further 24 hours later in it's fully functional live manner, with rewards and the ability to use Event Tickets.
**Captcha**
A captcha system was implemented in to the game that is being used to prevent, or heavilly hinder the automation of certain elements of the game. Mainly those elements of the game where activity is of importance, which currently is events.
This captcha will be triggered upon certain server actions and is intended to prevent the automating of events, however not be too invasive. We welcome feedback regarding how often the captcha is being triggered in the G.A.M.E.S event and if you feel it's too often.
**Quality of Life**
Players can now search for a hero based on the heroes name in the left hand pane that lists Monsters/Heroes on relevant pages such as Daily Quest, World Boss, Tournaments, Battles. Typing in the hero name should make finding the specific hero you want for a Daily Quest a bit more efficient for users.
**The Eternals**
An additional 24 hours was added to The Eternals event to allow players to spend their Void Orbs. This event will disappear as well as any remaining Void Orbs on Monday 15th June at 23:59 GMT. This event IS NOT CURRENTLY SCHEDULED TO RETURN.
**Bug Fixes**
Fixed a bug that caused the attack bonus gained by The Eternal void heroes to be passed on to the next unit on the round they died.

Issues discovered so far:
* Team Up upgrade doesn't work
* Claiming "favour ticks" only gives the most recent tick, not all of them that have been saved up
* Claiming activities simply not giving anything, or at least taking extremely long to register
Requests:
* A consistent place to view our current favour count so we don't have to keep checking them leaderboard page
* Another beta test before the full release since it seems like there are a LOT of issues

Well, so far it's activated every single time I've click on an Activities. And honestly, I have no real idea what Heroes are what Benders. I failed the captcha 2 because apparently I can't figure out what's Fire even tho I selected all of the ones that HAD fire in the pic. *shrug*

Suggestion:
change the captcha to the "match pair mini game" with a 3x3 grid. (of course 1 would be empty).
This would be fun and entertaining. The current captcha is a no go for new players and even for me, who played for the last 3 years.
This is no pokemon. How am I supposed to know all the names and types?
Also the captcha was triggered on every start of every activity. So way too often!

I've tried to claim favour multiple times and gotten nothing. Definitely a lot of bugs to iron out before the event goes live. Also, using the word "activity" to describe both hunt/cook/kill activities and the 24 minute favour tick activity is really confusing.

If we are meant to claim favors every 24 minutes then this has to be fixed. If it is random if you can claim or not we should be told about this.

Doesn't work for me. The Game crashes if I perform any activity, only showing me the background of my current Jump without any GUI interface.

Watched the favor timer count down to zero. It reset. I got neither a claim button nor the fortune.

Upgrades just magically started. After purchasing it removed favour from my favour value. So I tried 3 upgrades and spent my favour and am now nearly at bottom of leaderboard. Is this how it is supposed to work? I imagine this is bug? as I cannot recover the costs of upgrades it is detrimental to upgrade.

What I've seen so far:
* The event only started for me after first login (so missed ~5 hours). That might actually be part of a "solution" to the "you have to be online at eventstart"-issue, but is nowhere stated (?)
* claiming "activities" (which is very confusingly worded) somehow messes with the timer for next one
* some claims seem to be lost completely (according to history)
The following points are more of a QoL-type (but with all of them missing it's pretty hard to look through everything, even if you know what should happen):
* The event definitly needs some kind of ingame explanation
* information on current favour belongs in defense and upgrade-tab as well
* distinction between total favour and favour/tick is not clear
* distinction between activities as hunt/cook/kill and activities as "claim favour" not clear
* there are so many icons on the right now, how about finally removing CQ mobile ad (or at least make it hideable with the shop-option)?
On the captcha:
I got one with every activity, so that seems a bit much (but if you code it to make up for bad game design you might as well show it off as often as possible ^^)...

Hi, my piece of feedback:
* I connected like an hour ago and by the event rules forum post I thought I would have expected to have already some automatic 24min. currency gained, did I undersand wrong?
* Simoris first point has sense, so... did I lose 11 hours or the event or will my event last 11 hours longer? I guess the answer is the first one, but second line sounds like something to explore to avoid players handicap when can't connect at event launch. Maybe a window of 12 hours on which you can start the event anytime and you can later complete the full time of the event?
I also miss detailed information ingame. I came to forum so early just bc I found no way to remember the rules. With so many names, currencies and everything already ingame... or either you help us there or it gets too complicated to have in mind even more.
Captcha:
* I agree on that new players might find troubles to solve the captcha. Even with the colour trick, some are not as obvious (Electra seems more water than air, voids might be confusing...). Even long term players who were less active on a certain period might not have that easy to quickly click the captcha solution.
* Akaric idea of 3x3 match pair mini game sounds simple enough and doesn't appreciate previous knowledge.
* Maybe Captcha could randomly appear every 1-3 tries to reduce our time spent on it?
In case we keep the current Captcha, some small thing might be wrong there. On one of the lasts I had to select fire heroes and did it quick, once I sent captcha I saw Zatyus (or Erebus, I confuse them) "with the side of my eye" and it was unclicked. I expected the captcha to fail but it succeded.
I hope it helps. I find difficult to play the game as much as before but I appreciate your efforts to keep it alive and improve it. This beta test it is, in my opinion, a really great idea, same than listening and answering to the community. In my few recent visits to the forum I had the sensation of that also improving along the time, so thanks Endo, Gaia, Spyke and team. Also to players comunity. Cheer it up!
PS: If "next activity" counter arrives to zero and I still didn't "Click to perform Activities"... counter restarts and I can later click twice to perform activities? I am glad this is a beta test, so there is no preassure on losing chances because missunderstandings ;)

Only able to "half play" the event since clicking on HUNT and COOK crashes the event screen every time. I've tried this on Chrome, Firefox and Edge with same result on each, all on Windows 10. One way to stop automaters I guess is to make buttons that result in the black screen of death regardless of what clicks on them ...
I had a fleeting glimpse each time the game crashes of what I think is the Captcha, but unable to give any feedback on it since it only appears for an instant at the moment of death.
Saw pretty much the same problem stated in Bug Reports by Mk0ng, adding this so devs can see this is not just his problem.
From what I have been able to play of the event, as others have said it seems some clear instructions are needed as to what we are supposed to be doing. But because of the crash bug, I can't really tell if the event is even functioning as it is supposed to.
Well, I guess this is what beta testing is for, right devs?

Claiming favour ticks doesn't claim the most recent one, in your case it was another issue that I'm aware of and going to discuss about resolving.
Claiming activities (Which is going to be renamed) can take a while to register, it's possible hundreds of players are claiming within short windows.
Noted about consistent place to view current favour.

You're not. You have to claim them yourself because otherwise the server would implode sending currencies every 12-24 minutes. Every time you claim your favour the server works out what you're owed and gives you it. You can claim once every hour, 4 hours, 2 days, whatever.

Yes, upgrades cost Favour, it's intended. It's not a bug, the idea is Favour is something that can increase and decrease. It's up to you to work out if it's beneficial to spend Favour on upgrades or not.

The timer for the 'event start' is an indication as to when the defense element will kick in for you as a player, since this is a personal timer. It will kick in 24 hours after you started the event and happen every 6 hours. This is to spread the server load.
Noted about the timer, and claims sometimes being lost.
The defense tab has some text missing from it but we can also look to provide further explanation.
I had wanted to have it so you had a bar at the bottom of every page that shows the following: "Current Favour: Time Till Next Tick: Current Favour Tick: " and this would be present on every tab, it's noted for us to improve this though.
Not sure what you mean here, on the leaderboard page you can see your stats that show your current favour tick, and your current favour (that being directly on the leaderboard).
Yeah claiming favour should not be called 'Claim Activities' - it will be changed.
Icon thing I can pass on - not my place to comment on.
Captcha - Frequency is noted, personally I'd rather it was added to things that either generate or consume Favour in any way, but with an internal cooldown of about 20 minutes~. Meaning you should perhaps only see it a few times a day with the gameplay.

As it stands yes, it would appear you missed hours of the event. That said that's clearly not ideal and I'll make sure we adjust it.
Captcha can be made easier I'm pretty sure.
Doubt the captcha 'game' will change, but will likely be made easier.
Captcha will likely appear less often, currently it's set to appear on every activity. It's there to prevent automation or at least heavily hinder automation, not to make it annoying to play the game.

Seems like most people suggested the stuff I was going to, like a consistent place for favour to be displayed and some wording changes. Seems like you're addressing them properly as well. And yeah captcha needs to be much easier.
I appreciate the effort and it's a really cool new mini game but I do think it's a bit overly complex for something that only going to be done every 6 weeks (I assume). The defences seem kinda unnecessary, I don't really get the whole animal thing. It is something that will need to be explained more or just simplified a bit. I think that's my overall suggestion is to simplify things a bit. It's an event that is just going to flood the chat with a ton of questions (already has) and turn off a lot of noobs trying it out if they don't really understand it.
But that being said here are a couple other suggestions, questions.
Hunt seems rather useless, maybe have that be more of an RNG thing like 40-80 favour and 80-130 stanima, so for those that want to gamble a bit, they can, or for those that want to take the safe route they can do cook.
The super entertaining amount doesn't seem to show anywhere, is it additive? So level 4 is 40%? If so I guess you don't need to show it.
The history of all the favours won and such should be in the game itself, not just in the history tab.
Needs somewhere to say that you get more activity points every 24 hours, a timer or something, or just give 1 activity points every hour.

I was mainly concerned about not getting any favour for the first couple hours. If the event ends for everyone at the same time that would be a huge disadvantag (on top of not beeing able to inmprove your favour/tick right away)

The "Favour Value" in "Activities"-Tab is actually a favour/tick, the "Team up"-upgrade says it increases Favour gains, but from the announcement-thread I expect it to increase gains to Favour/Tick from activities.

and also while this is kinda in this thread as well. THANK YOU for the search feature for the heroes. Very good QoL improvement. Although it is in the hero manager, that would be helpful as well, having to mess with the filters is kind of annoying when you're looking for 1 hero. Hopefully something can be improved there, but otherwise it's good!

It is a very nice patch, I like the complexity of this event.
Unfortunately, the double claim bug is still there: if you open game in two (or even four) windows and click all the claim buttons ("click to perform activities"/ggautoclaim) really fast, you gain the favours twice (or four times). That was a small issue previously, but now it is more important, because it is less visible and basically impossible to correct after the event (because of updates). *I gained 115k additional favours this way; I assume that beta testing is also for this kind of tests*

The CAPTCHA in it's current design has to go. I'm failing 10 times in a row without "problems", just because I select all blue-ish stuff when I'm told to select all water heroes. Also, if every button click triggers the CAPTCHA, the game is losing it's "gamey" feel, rendering it less fun. If I'd like to spend my free time solving CAPTCHAs, I'd give it to any non-profit helping blind folks. Or sell my CAPTCHA solving skills to India.
