The captcha is the worst thing added to a game I have ever seen. I've been playing this game for a year and a half and I haven't memorized which hereos are what element and I don't intend to memorize them. A captcha for something limited is really dumb anyway, but if you feel it is needed use something that people can actually figure out!

Getting attacked needs to be more noticable. I got "cooked" overnight and had no idea, I thought the game was bugged until chat pointed out I should scroll through the history tab and I found out there. Needs to be a popup to tell you or an indicator somewhere of what happened and what effect it has.

Just to clarify, the Prana we're giving players for beta participation is a manual pay out and will be done when Spyke wakes up.
Also due to some issues with the event, I lowered the requirement to obtain the Prana to 100,000 Favour. Anyone above 100,000 Favour will get the Prana. The Prana award was to encourage people to interact with the event and provide feedback, the 1,000,000 Favour had a larger interaction requirement with the event than needed to get the feedback we wanted.

I tried participating, but it was bugged (black screen after clicking an action), so I still want my prana participation bonus.

Is that by highest favour? or current favour? because your current favour can easily be under 100,000 and you have still interacted quite significantly with the event

It's finished. Beta was going to be only 48h long and they passed 4 hours ago. Come back in a few days when they fix the bugs&reopen the event with actual rewards and it'll last 5 days instead of 2.

Perhaps Favour most needed an attempt to prevent automation.
It's a great idea to change the reward standard from rankings to milestones and distribute it evenly to the recipients.
Players can participate in events according to their own lives, without overburdening, reducing grudges against Automan and illicit people, and resentment against Dev.

There were so many bugs, i have trouble believing it's going to be bug free by then.
I'm going to assume that all the bugs/glitches have been mentioned.
I think my main criticism of how the event plays is the activities part.
The timers are too long, it's not engaging gameplay just pressing a button every few minutes while having to do non-stop captchas.
And it is a burden on Europe players to do this stuff at 1 - 3 A.M. depending on where you are.
Cut the timers in half (or more).
I know you've said you think it's possible that it's not necessarily worse to start later, but I'm fairly certain you are wrong about that, at least on the first day.

I'm still not 100% sure on whether or not the event will return tonight. When I know for sure I'll let you know. We've been able to change a lot of things already and I wanted to give feedback to the feedback and explain what has changed and/or we're looking to change.
Done:
- Fixed a bug that cause some data to be corrupted on a new day.
- Fixed a bug that cause the favour timer to fluctuate when claiming favour.
- Improved the leaderboard to better handle larger numbers.
- Added a log that shows what happened when you claim Favour
- Added a log that shows what happened when you checked Defenses
- Force defenses to be checked whenever a player performs a positive action
- Changed the event so the event starts on actual start and not when the player logs in (Although we have further improvements to this that aren't quite ready yet)
- Changed initial starting Stamina to 0
- Improved the wording on the Activities Tab
- Improved the wording on the Upgrades Tab
- Improved the wording on the Defenses Tab
- Improved the wording on the Leaderboard Tab
- Added a ? area to the defenses page that explains what is happening
- Fixed Team Up (was only working on Kill)
- Fixed upgrades to correctly level to 10 and not 9.
- Increase the costs of upgrades after the first one, now increases by 15,000 per upgrade rather than 2,500 per upgrade. Upgrades became quicker and quicker to get the more you had and snowballed, plus the micromanagement of them as an element of the game didn't exist after the first 24 hours and I want it to.
- Force players to claim Favour whenever they perform an action that would perhaps adjust future Favour gains.
- Added information that shows when a user has been negatively affected by an 'attack' from the defenses tab.
- Adding additional information to the Leaderboard page.
- Enabling players to add time to defenses, in blocks of 24 hours. This means players won't risk being attacked in the small window between defenses dropping and being re-applied.
In progress:
- We're hoping to adjust Favour so that 'Super Entertaning!' calculates for every Favour tick, rather than every time you collect Favour, although there's no promises that makes it in. In theory it's the same outcome regardless, but the latter is more volatile with the former being a more accurate representation.
Again, it's possible the event goes live tonight (We started adjusting the event internally the day it started testing, so it's not like we've been in a mad rush today to fix everything). That said right now I am not 100% sure. Until I announce otherwise however you should assume that the event will go live when originally announced.

I don't have any answers on this at the minute, but suffice to say I want to make it easier and less invasive. That said I don't have anything to share about what has been done or what might be done.

Kermit, has anything been added to say how you have ben negatively impacted once you have been attacked and/or a timer for how long the impacts remain for?
I feel this is very important.

The event will be going live soon, we just have some last minute changes to the captcha to implement.
I understand this is frustrating for players that are waiting for the event to go live but promise we're working quickly to get the last things finished up.

it's much too complicated and time consuming to play that stuff
I didnt understand half of the thing, because i dont want to put more brain into this : it's an idle game, it doesnt worth it.
i could'nt use all activities on beta, because of that "wait 2mins" between each claim, no i dont have 2 mins to wait for nothing and i never remember i have to claim and redo stuff , make it hours so i can actually do something else and come back later, or just remove it.
Seems that the sooner u get the upgrade, the better ur score will be, then again, i already lost 10h on the first players, because of night.
Best option for me now is completely avoid the event, so i dont get any frustration from having forgotten it, timers, bugs or other multiwindows exploit,
And mostly, I dont rly care 10PG and 9 lvls on a common hero for that kind of hassle, and i am convinced it will be like the last cycle event, where i got lost in the last 10% rankings, even doing my best to play.
