Is it just me or did my formatting on the first post go out the window somehow?

Good luck sifting through it…if it’s the same as it is on my screen, the formatting has all gone right down the drain. I suppose maybe quoting it would allow you to copypaste the better formatting into a Word document or something so that everything is neater and easier to copypaste to the wiki. Also, there’s probably ALOT more references in the achievements than I listed, solely because I’m kinda torn on where to draw the line. Alot of the Lemonade stuff is just lemon-(insert word part here), like referencing Armageddon or Ragnarok or…oh screw it, time to update the original post again.

The Golden Suit may also be a Discworld reference, in several of the novels, Moist Von Lipwig, a conman reformed into an entepreneur wears a golden suit as his trademark.

Ok, so someone explained to me what I was doing wrong and now the formatting is back. Yay.
For anyone interested, apparently formatting (including Enter Spaces and the stuff like stars for bolding and underscores for italics) breaks here if you have more than 45 dashes (these little buggers – ) in one post.
There’s a few things left to figure out that I’m sure are references, but Google doesn’t want to help me with them:
Operating Lemon VIII
Citrus of the 7 Suns (Might be a Saga of Seven Suns reference, but I’m not sure. My gut says otherwise, but I can’t recognize anything…)
Lemonokereti

|
|
metadata
Operating Lemon VIII is a reference to Scientology, specifically “Operating Thetan VIII,” the highest “auditing level” (whatever that means).
Also, I can clarify the achievement name “Lemondammerung.” This directly references “Gotterdammerung,” the fourth opera in Wagner’s Ring cycle. Gotterdammerung is the German word for Ragnarok, the “Twilight of the Gods.”
|
|
|
metadata
I like ‘German Word for Ragnarok’ better than “Lemon Twilight.” Makes more sense given the fatalistic nature of other Lemon achievements.
I also feel like the Operating x VIII is some sort of science-y reference. Like some sort of space station or something…scientology seems too odd to fit. I dunno.

Pizza 1300 appears to be in reference to the Wibbly Wobbly World of Play, on account of the fact that it is the first Google result when typing “Wibbly Wobbly”. It also might be a Doctor Who reference.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Dr. Who reference personally, cause I’ve seen a T-shirt before describing time as a ball of…I think it called it “wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.” But I was unsure.

Wibbly Wobbly is definitely a Doctor Who reference. It’s a quote from the episode “Blink,” which involves people getting sent back in time — a pretty snappy way to deliver a pizza.

Yeh I was unsure about it being Doctor Who because that is like the first Doctor Who reference. I expected multiple if there was one.

I hate to be rude, but I already got that. If you read in the achievements where the shrimp have a 3-point combo I reference a drinking game: ‘for every time they reference GoT, take a shot.’ That’s why I say to just take another shot by Game of Loans.

Here’s a new one.
The Upgrades ‘In Brightest Day’ and ‘In Darkest Night’ are a reference to the Green Lantern Oath, though it’s originally ‘In Blackest Night’.
Funny thing is you kill so many angels for ‘In Darkest Night’, where ‘Blackest Night’ is a comic featuring Black Lanterns, which are basically really powerful space zombie lanterns that can fly around.
Even so, ‘Brightest Day’ is a comic featuring White Lanterns, which focus on life and requires total control over your emotions. Which still kills angels, therefore not really being Life.
