I'm in the situation of having the 87th Star Award (so, 3 Masters auto-hired by the CoFounder at the beginning of a new school) and still not-having the Famous Award (that is possible only without hiring any Master).
I knew that the CF doesn't count as a Master for the Famous Award: that's good 'cause while growing the solo-disciple you can start developing school building, jobs, ect... than, when the Award is done, you promote the disciple and start playing as a normal school.
But... having the 87th S.A. this is no more possible.
Am I now supposed to found a school without CF, losing a lot of time getting the Famous Award (without the CF help, so a much longer and difficult task) and then reset?
An option in the "BUILD NEW SCHOOL" that lets you choose **IF** having the auto-Masters could be useful. Same as the option in the "Promote Disciple" tab that gives you the opportunity of starting a lvl.1 disciple for Late Bloomer Award.
Thank you.

I've just tried to build a new school without CoFounder to obtain the Famous Award, but... surprise!
The game gives me the three auto-Masters *even without the CF*.
So, at the moment that Award is totally locked for me.

You could start a new school without 100,000 local fame.

If, say, you can buy a history archive for a million, make a new school so that you gain just enough fame to do that. Start a new school, spend your million in the archive, so that your fame is low, then start a new school again.
Although I see there is a new option when creating a new school, "Free Buildings", which can be turned off, so now you can do that, too.
