**Equip**
This tab is where you do a few different things.
1) You can choose your fighting stance *Fencing, Two-Handed, Sword & Shield, Dual Swords*
2) You can equip your gear *Every stance has it's own gear set. So if you are trying to sell those pesky daggers make sure you unequip them in all stances*
3) You can upgrade your gear
**Shop**
This is where you buy and sell equipment.
**Mastery**
This tab becomes open once you have advance your first disciple. This tab will eventually have 5 mini tabs than you can go through.
Masters: Here you can choose which master you want to view (up to 3 later in the game), see their fighting skills, and level up mastery skills
School:
*First run through *
1) For the first run through worry about getting Strength up then Endurance
2) Strength is needed to equip higher level equpiment
3) Dual Sword equpiment stance is the general way to go
4) After your first mastery put your stats into Mentor
5) Dont worry about gold income. You can get to the point of where you sell items back for 30% more than what you bought them for.
6) Save up to buy the School after the second or 3rd disciple reset
7) Leveling up the School and Sleeping quarters should be priority in the buildings tab. They increase the amount of Plat earned
8) When you unlock Awards make sure you unlock them. If you need to do a weird build do it and just start a new disciple without promoting to master.
9) Scrolls - Always have a scroll going. Start with Mastery Scrolls Wisdom, Leadership, Prowess, Mentor. Then go on to fighting scrolls and do the ones for your build first. After 2 Library upgrades the max levels are Fighting scroll - 10 and Master scroll - 4

Some corrections, based on your progress, duel starts with 8, and always shows 8 top fights, even if it's decreased to 7/6/5 required for offline exp. Right after the skills section, you've wrote that skills start with a max level of 8, while they start with 5 and can be capped to 10 with innovation without the two +5 skill cap awards. you also start with 0% offline earnings, and gain 20% per rank, you listed 80% but that's at the master rank without any offline gold/exp mastery skills. This is basically a list of what skills do, which is already shown in the game with a small guide that isn't very efficient to say the least. You wrote Dual Sword stance while it's a style, and You told people to put all mastery skill points into mentor while you always want innovation level 1 for the brainstorm award when you unlock the masters. I'm not gonna bother with more criticism. No offence intended at all, I just hope the players get some good information.

A quick question, I've got 3 level 150'ish masters, but I'm stuck at a max of 15 for my skills for some reason. I see a lot of people talking about lvl 20? How do I Progress past this point? And is there a way to get past level 5 on the mastery stats?

@MichaelM1164: Yes there is, you need a certain award to increase the max from 15 to 20. I'll let you figure out which ;)

Do the increasing Selling price awards still exist?

(To my own question: no, they are replaced will bonus gold income from enemies.)
Also, the real beginner tip: once you hit level 30+, your offline income is better than your online income. Your online income depends on your kills, but the average fight is going to be really hard and long if you're pushing new levels, and you'll die often. However, your offline income is determined by your 8 "most efficient" kills (xp/sec). Find out which enemies you can kill faster (usually the "rogue" types), switch between the highest and second highest training level until you see one, then hope you can kill it fast. You'll die often, but that's okay. Once in a while you'll get lucky and get a quick, high level kill. That'll boost your offline income. Once you've got 8 good kills, save and go offline (or stay online and click Load later on).

As far as those offline kills go, "top 8 kills" exp bonuses reflect the exp gained AFTER all bonuses kick in, instead of before with the mastery bonuses coming later.
This means if you hit the level of your max level master (or even the level of your lowest level master) you'll probably not get another top 8 duel for a long time, if ever. The best time to set your top 8 list is therefore right before you hit the level of your lowest level master that has the discipline skill.

Sort of depends of your phase in the game. I'm at the start, with just having unlocked the Library, and it's still easy to climb gradually. I have three lvl 80 masters and I'm pushing toward 130 now to get the Head Master award.

Hey guys.
I really like this game, but I can't really tell why my 2nd, and only my 2nd, master cannot access the third tier of Mastery Skills.
I don't really get it.
I thought it might be tied to how many masters there were, but no.
Then I thought it might be tied to how many previous masters had innovation learned, but no.
Can anyone explain what I have to do for this last master to access tier three Mastery Skills?

I believe it's tied to what rank your master reached, i.e. how many tournaments you finished.

Nope, couldn't be.
Both other masters are Grand Masters, and so is the one I promote.
EDIT:
Could have been wrong on this, I'm not sure.
Anyway, I *think* I got it to work by upgrading mentor on my current masters...
