I know it took a ton of personal time, and a grasp of the game that us less savy ppl cannot even imagine, to pen this guide. Thank you TeenGogeta and kudos to you sir.

Helloo, I didn't manage to read the description for the lineage as my option tab was open last time i closed the game and covered it.
Do the lineage coins reset for a new disciple, or do they stay the same for every disciple and only increase when whichever disciples goes beyond the highest level anyone of your disciples has reached?
And now I said disciple so many times the word got weird. Disciple.

Lineage upgrades are permanent. You earn more coins to spend on the system by reaching higher training levels.

What's everyone's opinion on how to spend gold lineage coins? I'm about to hit LV 500 which gives me 8 in total but I'm not sure how to best use them. Any advice?

My vote would be Military: Auto-Concentrate lv2, Auto-Change Stance 3... YMMV

Thank you for the advice. I have another question not related to my first: I'm sitting at TL 671, and I cannot get anywhere- I believe my character is LV 619. I've tried DW, 2H, and Fencing but I win like 2% of the time. To those who have made it further, what advice can you share on how to speed up progression (if it is possible to do so)?

How do I initiate a fight with the rivals?

Gku99: Go to the Rivals tab of the Mastery Menu. You have to be Grand Master to Duel them.

Tovrick, right I can see them, but I don't know how to initiate the fight. I am Grand Master rank, I click on the first portrait, but nothing happens. Is there a button somewhere else?

yeah in the top right corner of the rivals menu it should have a button with the text "Start Duel". Then you can probably guess what happens.

Updated from chat,
DEC 1 - 2:38AM
DneBays: but yeah for a barrage build you can't go wrong with Power > Barrage > Accuracy > Aggression > 2H or DW > Concentration > Strength > Technique > Speed > Blitz 10 > Attack 10 > Critical
DEC 1 - 2:39AM
DneBays: Claymore/Cloth
DneBays: for DW either Dual Claymore or Claymore/Shortsword if you have the Forge
DEC 1 - 2:40AM
Baigar: great stuff, thanks alot
DEC 1 - 2:41AM
DneBays: and you can sprinkle in Endurance 10 and Defend 10 if you have stamina issues
campbg11: eh i would get agression before attack
campbg11: I mean accuracy
DEC 1 - 2:42AM
campbg11: plus **** the stamina, the whole point of 2h is kill or be killed in 1 hit
DEC 1 - 2:44AM
DneBays: oh yeah I forgot grab Dual Sword 10 in there somewhere
DneBays: since you're fighting Swashbucklers half the time

ArcQuazar, I remember getting stuck at a similar place. I'm now at TL 897 and character level 820, and the key to pushing past the ceiling at character level ~620 was:
1) Max out exp boost mastery skills (mentor, discipline, dedication)
2) Get all rival stars to pump up your exp multiplier (maxes out at 7189% for 45 stars)
3) Max out special trainings for your 'rival' masters (maxes out at ~3,000% damage and hp boost, 480 atk/def/hit boost)
4) Get the right 'rival' masters in place, with the right skills. I'm using dual sword build (rapiers and leather armor), opponent choice set to blue with auto-stance change on. Given opponent choice, I'm spending most time in blitz stance. Given I'm 100% dual sword, and mostly blitz, important to find 'rival' masters who give exp boost that fits with those. For me that is Grand Master Greg (get lead disciplinary up to level 3, get dual swords mentor up to levels 2 or 3) and Grand Master Ward (get blitz training up to level 3, get dual sword advocate up to level 2 or 3). For your "lead" skills keep in mind that you need to have enough unused mastery skill points to get full effect (20 times the level of the skill). This will give you a crazy boost in exp and ability to get more training wins per battle. You could also sub out Grand Master Wallace for Greg given he has lead mentor which has greater utility beyond current level cap, but you lose the dual sword mentor bonus.
Hope this helps

What is the liklyhood of a body or head hit? What does it depends on, if anything? Is there more (legs, arms...)?
In what order do the event skills proc? Also in combination with normal skills, e.g. does a "Kill" prevent a "power strike win " from Drevon?

For all styles except dual-weilding you have a 2/3rds chance of a body hit and a 2/3rds chance of a head hit. (this means a third of hits qualify as both) A power attack and a Kill status effects are seperate activations and can both be part of the same attack. That being said I don't know the order event skills proc. I believe it checks them in order of severity (Kill > Blind for head shots, Disarm > Disable > Bleed for body shots) and that multiple status effects can trigger on the same hit.
