I have tested with someone on the chat that, shortest possible fight can have around 1.99 - 2.25 (tested with double shortsword and Blitz on lvl 1 enemies. (I have retired disciple and get back to lvl 1 so duel tab shows fight time) So fight itself was one quick strike, with rest begin death animation and from what I see the end of the fight is annouced by gold income notification. If you could make fight time end when enemy health reaches 0 not when death animation ends, you would really help with grind on lvls like 330 where every 0.1 second matters. Cutting fight time by 1 second can really help everyone who is struggling to get past 330 wall.
Currently im sitting on 341 lvl :)

Why help us breach a wall there is yet nothing behind? Cutting death animations would make every loss seem trivial. Im around the same lvls myself and since we only increase stats by lvling progress will be slow til new content. Endgame is badly balanced for a reason, faster progression wouldnt really change shit. We will probably have maxed all skills(little below lvl 360) before friday update either way.

Plus it discourages blitz farming from lower lvl enemies(get lower lvl enemies you can onehit very fast... such stuff
It is practically a time restraint against that.
