### **Greetings, heroes!**
I’m here today with some pretty neat news-- **Item Find formula has been reverted to the previous, multiplicative formula.** This means you should now have the calculation in your total Item Find:
* **Total Item Find = (Base Bonus + Items Bonuses) * Encounter Bonuses**
Item Bonuses are equipped items such as runes or consumables.
It is still very important that we correct the imbalance introduced by the highly powerful gors.
Leaving everything as-is were would worsen the imbalance by giving players who have powerful gors a huge advantage going into the next tier. For us to correct that imbalance and keep things on track for a healthier, more sustainable Bit Heroes, additional adjustments are being made:
* **All gors with a bonus of more than 500% (including Capgor and Exgor) are now Legacy Items.**
This means that we will not be selling them regularly, though you may see them on very rare and special ocassion.
Existing gors in player acccounts are unaffected, use them when you'd like to!
We plan to introduce additional boosts that will help in different scenarios such as Capgor and Exgor, but the new boosts will not exceed 500%.
* **Total Item Find bonus now has a cap of 3500%.**
This is in between what was possible a while ago (~5000%) and what was possible after the previous Item Find change (~1600%).
* **Base drop rates have not been further adjusted for this tier, but they will be reverted in the next tier.**
When we did the previous Item Find change, we boosted the base drop rates to compensate. We will keep that for this tier, but drop rates will be reverted in the next tier to further balance the game.
This means that current content now has a reverted Item Find formula, a new cap on total Item Find, and current drop rates.
In the next tier, the reverted item find formula and the new IF cap will remain, but drop rates will revert to where they were just before we changed Item Find the first time.
* **Item Find Runes & Guild Perks will not be changed at this time.**

**‘NEW’ (reverted) Item Find Formula**
* **Total Item Find = (Base Bonus + Items Bonuses) * Encounter Bonuses**

Encounter Bonuses are Daily Bonus, Resource Bonus (for using 2x Badges, for example), and Zone Bonuses.
Base Item Find = 100%

Player has 60% Item Find Runes and will do a zone encounter that provides 150% Item Find Bonus.
**Previously:**
Base Item Find and everything else is added together.
100+60+150 = 310% Total Item Find
**Currently:**
Add Base and rune item find first 100+60 = 160
Zone bonuses increase that by 150%.
160*150% = 400% Total Item Find

**Example 2:**
Player has 60% Item Find Runes, 1200% from ultragor and will do a zone encounter that provides 150% Item Find Bonus.
**Previously:**
Base Item Find and everything else is added together:
100+60+1200+150 = 1510% Total Item Find
**Currently:**
Add Base, Rune and Consumable Item Find first: 1360.
Zone bonuses increase that by 150%.
1360*150% = 3400% Total Item Find

My apologies for frustrations or confusion, we really want to make this game great for players and have been tasked with a difficult situation that has no easy answers.
I will keep reading and reading all the community input and pushing for changes that are positive for players and healthy for the future of this game.
Hopefully this change feels good to the community knowing that it’s a step up from the recent state without making imbalance worse or introducing problems in the upcoming new tier.

## debunking errors
The formula is kinda wrong but the example's results are correct. It should be (100 + bonus) x **(100 + dungeon)**
example 1 would be (100+60) x (100+150) = 400%
example 2 would be (100+1260) x (100+150) = 3400%
you can also see this as :
example 1 : 160 + 160\*150% = 400%
example 2 : 1360 + 1360\*150% = 3400%
2021 EDIT : daily bonus is a personnal bonus, not an encounter bonus. This led to confusions in the past weeks.

I would like to get my ultragor and 21 token duffles and 2 colgors and thousands of energy spend back when you cut item find by 2/3 without explaining it to people. That was a pretty awful weekend.

While this is a welcome change it still really doesn't change the fact that sales are still horrible. Old IF + horrible sales does not a healthy game make. Whether you think thats a matter of "perceived value" or not the fact remains it will be too expensive for most people to actually start spending/playing again and I think that perception is all too important.

so if someone have 3500% item find how much chance he have getting a legendary? is there anyway to understand the drop rates of legs sets and mystics yet? like how much 3500% item find really is in chances of for a item to drop?

Great - now put the shop back to how it was and leave the game alone. There is nothing wrong with the gors... people need dopamine hits to keep playing. It might be salivating over an offer in the store, getting a crate of opulance or getting a run of legendary items with the gors. You need to go back to this - it's what makes it addictive. You've put item find back...belatedly... well done, but half the other dopamine hits are still missing. I am going to wait a few more weeks but I think the damage is done - I'm simply not enjoying the game anymore and it's directly as a result of all the "improvements" the devs have been making. You make money by creating something fun and enjoyable and that's what's been removed in the pursuit of profit. Nobody wants those random item boxes when it comes to paying real money. They aren't fun! Saving up money and having a temporary crazy boost is fun...

Well is there any improvement on the chances of capturing epic fams?
Did a shit tons of capturing in dungeons/raids but non was successful.
Dont ever mentione the thing about RNG stuffs because it is so absurd that I have failed to capture one epic fams from normal dungeons for over 20 times in a row.
Does it even make sense? How do you calculate that 15% persuasion rate tho? Not a single persuasion was successful and just getting demotivated from day-to-day.
I always believe that consistency and persistent will lead to fruitful outcome like successfully capture epic fams from dungeons or raids but apparently it is not.
I am glad that the IF has been reverted to the previous stage but capturing fams would seem to be a problem too.
Wasted a lot of times trying to be progressive in the game but things just dont turn out the best way that we can get lol.

Put the shop back to what it was. Chests with Mythic boosts + consumables + gems + misc. Not this silly rolling for consumables.
It has been great though as I havn't been spending on the game for a while. :)
