> section 1.4
The “settings” button opens/closes a menu where you can change the graphic level, background color, and grid size.
> section 2.2
Those can also mean 12+ layers.
> section 3.5
000000 is allowed when inside objects with different colors, but not on the outside of objects. (example of 000000 as base color: Void staff in-game)

One way I use the layer naming is when polishing items (either other people’s items or my own), making small changes to the names (usually changing “layer” to “layer1”) to show which layers were polished and which weren’t, so I don’t have to go look at the same one multiple times.
* * *
Do I seriously know more about MaD Lab than XSpeed?
Also, necessary is spelled, well, necessary, not “nessacary”.
The last two pictures spelled “Husky” as “Huskie”.

Not sure if it’s just me, but the pics are way too big. As in, you have to actually scroll it to see the full picture. Making it a bit smaller would be better.
Also, 0rava, if you pin this, then please also pin the Tips and Hints thread.
And, this is more of a opinion, but I think the paws and a bit of the shape of the head look better in the original.
And I just realized…

How do you 0rava? Who can 0rava?

I’ll add a link to this thread in the MaD Lab thread at some point.
Some notes and feedback:
- The **Lines** toggle snaps to other points on the same layer (in 180° and 45° angles) and has nothing to do with the grid.

- The “unnecessary overlaps” in Part 3 would’ve been fine if they were Decorative layers backed up with a large invisible layer, same applies for the white part of the head.

[Here](http://i.imgur.com/2hyJdVe.png) is my version for the sake of the tutorial, even if it’s never going to be added because of Lab guidelines.
- Generally, try to use rectangles instead of triangles to split layers if you’re going to do so.

xspeed i really need more little images as it is a pain to see only half on the pictures then scroll down and then up only to see the other half that needs the 1st half

its meant to be like that. right click each pic and open them all seperately in a new tab. i know its a big hassle, but you have no choice really
