I've enjoyed this game so far, but can rank say 100 get something like a free play mode, where we get to choose the number of dragons and just play around with it. Usually I'm so focused on killing the dragons that if I make only a couple bad mistakes or have a couple bad rooms, I have to resign. This leaves little room to just try out new strats or just play for fun. Well, it is fun, but not the relaxing sort of fun. Could you please consider adding such a mode with no risks and no rewards in ranking.

That's a great idea, but perhaps it can also be based on what your fame is too for those who are not at fame 100. So if your fame is 50, it means you can fight any of the previous levels.

I like this idea, but I have some questions relating to it:
- What is keeping you from trying new strategies in career mode now, without caring about whether you win that game? Is it your Victory Ratio on your player page? (Should there even be a Victory Ratio for career mode?) Is it that you don't want a defeat to appear on the event feed?
- Would you expect to earn XP in this mode?
- It sounds like you are asking for a practice mode (which to me means there is nothing to lose and nothing to gain). But would you prefer a mode with nothing to lose, but something to gain? Like maybe we call it "Arena" mode, where you pick a dragon challenge under your fame level, and if you win you get a score (your score would be the amount of health you have left after a victory). We could keep your high score for each dragon level that we put on your player page, and maybe award XP based on high scores. So in the Arena mode you could either go for a high score or just play around and practice.

Oh, I didn't even know we had a player page with statistics. (Now I am considering getting every monster once on the "killed by" list.)
As for some kind of practice mode, I think Career Mode already works fine for practicing whole dungeons. What might be interesting to have practice rooms to try tactics vs. special rooms/opponents. For that I imagine
- the player can choose any hero regardless of unlock, level can be adjusted freely (maybe only after reaching a certain Fame level)
- the player can chose a room type (Cavern, Mines, Ruins, Specters, Lich, Mummy King, Dragons, Tunnels, maybe even something more specific) which would only be unlocked at certain Fame levels
- the player can freely choose gear levels
- potions and spells start at 99 (no need to restrict this in practice mode)
- the mode would give no XP

Defeats aren't really the issue. I don't imagine many people know about player statistics pages, and I actually give myself a chuckle when I look at my own ignominous defeats on the board. However, I've also noticed that some runs are so riddled by bad luck that they're unwinnable. Past maybe 20-25 dragons, more and more runs seem to be that way,and especially past 30 as the few players who have gotten that far have nosedived in winrates. For those players, as in general for some past the 25 mark, the fact that they may not have a run with enough luck to give them a good chance to win for another 3-5 dungeon runs might discourage from trying something bold and risky that wouldn't pay off.
XP isn't too much of an issue either, if XP is given, then the only thing we ought to choose is number and color of dragons, if XP isn't given, then a sort of sandbox mode like Arty suggested would work as well.

There's a statistics page? I can't seem to find how to access it.
Also, can the monster guide be updated to show the die they roll for attack/magic and defense? It's misc. info, but I suppose it piques some interests.

Find yourself in the standings and click your name.
We'll eventually have a better way to do that. And a better stats page. :)

All their dice are a d10.
