is it just me? when ur gears improved, all the other gears automatically turned into exp.
Example, when u cleared the lich area, u will automatically loot everything. loots a gear(chest or not) and your gear improved then goes to the so called high level gear that is being gaurded by the lich then boom you missed a +7/8/9.
As this only happened after the update of May03,2019. This game heavily relies on RNG and yet our only edge on this game has been messed up. So before i clear everything in the room, i make sure to loot the high level gear 1st before ending it but suffering a few damages for it.

I'm not sure what you mean, but it is entirely up to you on your overall strategy/tactic to approach a room. You can choose to kill then loot, loot and kill, or loot and run. You do loose some XP, but it should be noted that the Dragon kills XP vastly over shadows whatever other XP you can gain elsewhere.

I'm sure this is actually a question about unfairly losing loot on a cleared room and only getting the XP, like in this [post](https://www.kongregate.com/forums/979845-dungeoneers/topics/1786968-bugs-and-suggestions?page=5#posts-13047748) from way back in March.
I have not seen this bug (or any kind of loot skipping) since that thread, and am still not convinced that the supposed improvement from the second/"exceptional" item fails to award.

Yeah... I do not recall having encountered this bug either. Maybe all those who has experienced it can report their browser and Flash versions for the developers to compile and isolate the potential cause/fix.

Chest loot order should not affect XP gained because you get the XP regardless of whether it is an improvement or not. Regarding skipping the second chest spinner in some cases, that should not affect items gained because it is almost certainly a client side display issue only.
