Lol. I bought auto cast. It doesn't work. I have it enabled. I have 2000 max energy and I only have two hacks and their combined cost is 700 energy.
What other hidden requirement is there for this to work? And why was it hidden?
Things to consider:
1) Are you doing a challenge? Challenge lmitations can affect energy or auto-cast ability.
2) Have you maxed out the auto-cast skill? On the first level, each hack requires 150% of the manual cast energy.
3) Are you trying to auto-cast an instant hack (like the buy hack) as opposed to a timed hack? This will use all your energy and just continuously cast the instant hack.
Yes. In the late game, you will want the hacks to start around 35 seconds apart, so you keep your energy level high and maximize the bonus from starting a hack (it also applies when hacks are auto-cast).
