Hey folks!
Just a quick update on my current situation and the next big addition I'm working on. First, I'm moving this Friday which as you can imagine has gotten in the way of working on NGU, so there may not be a new build for another week or so yet. Sorry! After this I should be fully settled into my new place and ready to pump out NGU hotness at my normal manic pace.
As for what I have cooking next, it is the I.T.O.P.O.D - The Infinite Tower of Pissed Off Dudes! **Note: anything I say here is subject to changes based off my whims**
It'll be placed in adventure and is essentially a (much more basic) Clicker Heroes thingy. The tower will have many levels, and you will need to kill 10 enemies on that level to unlock the next level. When entering the I.T.O.P.O.D you can set the start and end level. You'll start at the (duh) specified start level, and progress up to the (also duh) specified end level. If you die, or reach the target end level, you'll be automatically shot back to your start level and climb backup again. You can set the start level as high as 10 levels below your all-time highest.
Why would you bother grinding mobs in this tower? This is what I've thought of as possible rewards, but if you guys have any suggestions or ideas i'd love to hear 'em. I think unique rewards would work best here.
1) A small drip of AP for defeating enemies here.
2) Boosts, scaled to the level of the tower.
3) Special items that unlock Active use abilities! Different level ranges of the tower would be able to drop different items, so climbing higher would allow you to unlock a new active ability, ultimately. These abilities would give a significant speed boost to some permanent stat, or the leveling speed of a feature, and last for maybe 1-3 minutes. They would then have something like a 1-6 hour cooldown depending on what the skill might be. Skills could be something like a burst in Augment/Wandoos/NGU speed, or perhaps something that works in adventure to give a buff there. Enemies would drop the items to unlock these skills at a set (rare) rate, and you'd be able to merge multiple drops of the items to level up the skill, which would improve the duration and degree of the effect slightly.
In addition, I could make every X levels of the tower spawn a Titan-style enemy with stats scaled to that level of the tower, but I'm less sure on this idea.
Please, let me know what yuo think about these ideas! :)

I would love a Mood Ring to drop that unlocks different moods... aka... different color schemes or UI Color options sorta like how a mood ring changes colors. I would love th eoption to be able to personalize my NGU! My input since you asked. 8)

As a veteran mmorpg player i like the ChristopherB70's idea of customizable ui.
As for ITOPOD i would add some challenges to it as it is always good to have more different challenges. Challenges could be related to highest floor reached, time limit fo reach certain floors, locks to some skills etc.

If we don't get to fight an isopod in the I.T.O.P.O.D. I'm going to be unreasonably upset.
That aside, the idea sounds oddly interesting.

Heres a Idea. Maybe With your Tower Build. Add a Crafting like system where we can maybe Better Gear ( In my eyes this could Match with Evil and Sadistic modes)
Also With the items we got now, Maybe make it so once it's Level 100, We can make it go back to Level 1, But with increase Stats. and Have like a +1 to its name. and this could go on up to say maybe +5 or +10. Maybe even make them into Rare Tier Forms IE "Black" Color Letter Tier 1 Normal/Common, "Blue" Color Letter Tier 2 Uncommon, "Red" Color Letter Tier 3 Rare, "Green" Color Letter Tier 4 Very Rare, "Purple" Color Letter Tier 5 Super Rare/Epic , "Yellow/Gold" Color Letter Tier 6 Legendary
And maybe higher the Tier/rarely higher the +'s it can go.

Adventure stats bonus would be perfect (1% - 10lvl for example). I would also like some acceleration in early-middle part game, 3 is ideal for such.

Personally i don't think you should add the active boosts. in the end that would only really require the player to pay more attention to the game which isn't nessecarilly a good thing. having a weaker, passive boost would accomplish the same result as the active boost (giving incentive to try out this new mechanic, enforcing the feedbackloop that is an idle game) only without irritating players like me that don't want to deal with that.

This sounds great! Best of luck with moving!

Quick update: move is complete, though there's tons to set up :) After looking over all the ideas from the posts i made on reddit, here, etc I think the big think I'll add as a reward for ITOPOD is a set of perks, and ditch the active use things. Grinding mobs at the tower will let in a slow trick of progress towards earning some perk points, which will be assigned to (you guessed it) various perks that can be simple +stats or a one-time unique perk like activating power bruit beta earlier and without eating a fruit, or having X levels of every advanced training skill active immediately after rebirthing.
The AP and boosts will probably still be a thing.

that sounds fantastic, just one question.
Is this an extra for late game stuff or is the tower scaled so we jump in it realatively early and just climb levels as we go?

The tower is intended to be accessibly fairly early into the game, probably somewhere between cheese and GRB. One idea the chat gave that I liked was an unlock item dropping from the sky, and consuming it opens up the itopod in the adventure menu.

Glad to hear that you've gotten your stuff moved over, 4G. I've been in a similar situation over the past two weeks.
Do you happen to know if there's a release date in mind for the ITOPOD, or do you feel like giving an estimate for the ITOPOD's introduction to NGU would be too unpredictable currently? Take as long as you need for this update, but it honestly sounds like an interesting addition to the game.

At a rough guess, another 1-2 weeks.

ASCEND ITEMS-you get those when you rebirth if you can add rebirth to I.T.O.P.O.D. and you can level up these items to make them Ultimate items what are 1000x times better than the first items

Are we getting a new sale soon? The current one has been going for a couple weeks now. Personally hoping for a sale on beard slots but just something new would be good. Thanks!

Can we get a UI clean up for the sellout shop? It would be nice to grey out or somehow minimize the visual noise of things I can't buy any more of.

Hey gang!
I know i've been neglecting this thread, sorry! Real life stuff, you know.
So .400 is coming up soon, and I had two ideas for what I will do for this build. One idea is a major overhaul of the stat breakdown menu. I'd add a lot more breakdowns you have been asking for, with pages splitting up the breakdowns into categories like Attack/DEF, Number, Adventure, NGU, Wandoos, etc. I'd also use a font that evenly spaces the numbers - it should make it easier to follow the math that calculate each major stat.
The other idea I had this morning however, is about Titan 6. My idea for this ittan is it would have 3-4 "tier"s, with each tier being way stronger than the previous, having a more compelx/asshole-ish move patterns, and of course, dropping new goodies for each higher tier. Tier 1 would be somewhat stronger than enemies in BAE and the higher tiers of the titan would be even stronger. This titan would be focused on perform different battle effects, forcing you to switch up your moves. One effect might temporarily make attacks on her also hurt you or the same damage. another effect may add a constant healing effect similar to Hyper Regen on the titan, but weaken her defences, forcing you to all-out attack to outpace the burst of healing, that sort of thing. Higher tiers of the titan could add in new moves and battle effects you'll have to adapt to, on top of just plain being way stronger.
With 3 or 4 tiers of this titan, it would scale in power up into the hundreds of billions, so it'd dangle a goal over the heads of even the most end-game folks, but also be accessable to more casual players just now reaching BDW or BAE.
Now, I think it would be best if I focus on either the revamped stat breakdowns OR the titan, but not both so my question to you guys is - which would you prefer to see in .400? :D

I vote for the Titan. Not thrilled with forced active play of the Titan but just like with Walderp will put up with it until I can auto kill.
I'm torn on the multiple tiers of the Titan thing. I mean, it's great for a scripter like me to have something I can't just blow past. But at the same time the way content is done in this game, should Titan 6 still be relevant to us later on? How will this impact the next Titan or zones and what they have to offer?
Would each higher tier continue to drop the gear of the lower tier just also the newer gear? Would each tier have different autokill requirements?

Might be in the minority here, but I actually suggested an update to the stat breakdown page. I would LOVE to see some extra stats there for things that are currently not included and the visual overhaul would be a huge QoL improvement. Would bring some nice polishes to the game. I'm sure the end-game crowd is itching for new content/devolopment but hey, I'm sure they have a TON of grinding to do in ITOPOD still. Plus, (and pulling this out of my ass) I think that the stat breakdown update will be easier/quicker to set up for the next build than adding new content.
And on the titan idea...I had not thought of a titan that basically scales up. With the current system it feels like there are "stepping-stone" objectives. It's clear-cut, straight forward, and it works. It provides a clear adventure path. I think adding a titan that scales up should be saved until very end-game before resetting to the next difficulty. Basically the be-all-end-all boss before moving on to evil or sadistic difficulty. If you structure it this way, you could set this as the impenetrable wall on easy difficulty, scale the stats for pre-existing titans/zones for evil difficulty, and have new content for evil difficulty onward be accessible where the would-be tier-up titan would be on easy.
For simplicity, you can think of it as chapters in a book. Titans 1-6 (with 6 as the tiering/scaling titan) would be avail on any difficulty, but on evil difficulty, Titans 1-5 are same, Titans 6-11 are new, and Titan 12 now becomes the scaling Titan. 6 Titans in the first chapter of the book. 12 in the second chapter. 18 in the third chapter. *number of titans estimated. please add as many as you'd like.
Thoughts, comments, concerns? I can be located in chat room #8!
Edit 1: Formatting sucked. Added spacing for better visibility.

@Evo: Higher tiers would simply addd a special accesory or two that have some useful bonuses, and it would just add it to the drop table on top of the lowertier items. it'd give you a reason to head back and keep fighting titan 6 but wouldn't obsolete any new zones i make after or anything.

supposing the higher the titan tier the more exp/ AP it would drop too right? i dunno about manual, but auto-kill would happen eventually, i like the idea of titan's having multiple tiers. would future future titans also get this?

To clarfiy, Titans are likely gonna drop very little/ no AP from now on or else the scaling goes out of whack for the AP. But EXP? You betcha.
Currently the tiers are just an idea for this Titan but if it turns out to be a big hit with you guys i'm open to continuing with the pattern!

Heya 4g! Loving the new updates! And I do enjoy the new custom buy buttons for exp~ But the one thing I really really would like (even if its put behind a AP paywall). Is a custom bulk buy button for exp. The ability to buy x amount of power, x amount of cap and x amount of bars at once! :D I look forward to the new content <3

I'm curious as to how the tiers will work. Will the timer start when tier 1 dies and reset back to tier 1 after?
While im here, can I trash candy cane or do you think it might have another ascention to it?
edit: Also, will titan unlock a new menu or extend a current menu? Some more stuff to do with magic would be nice.
