What does this mean for me? You will always be able to play your favorite games on Kongregate. However, certain site features may suddenly stop working and leave you with a severely degraded experience.
What should I do? We strongly urge all our users to upgrade to modern browsers for a better experience and improved security.
We suggest you install the latest version of one of these browsers:
It will be unlocked as you unlock wishes, but you will be very far from the stats to be able to level that wish at that point so it doesn't really make much of a difference for now.
Maxed/buffed items from Meta Lands. Unlocked Godmother, didn't try it yet though.
4-5 hiting mobs in ID party (5.38% boss drop chance). Got few levels in each items, so I can use again pit efficiently.
Checking the gear optimizer however, it seems the mix of equipment gets harder (weirder) to optimize, e.g. for NGU it recommends mix of nerd + meta items, and stealthist armor.
I would cap normal NGU naked, so when doing that I guess I can instead max R3 bonus gear or so.
But when I start going for regular evil NGU runs, it will get tougher.
What are your priorities, when optimizing armor for generic NGU phases of your rebirth?
The Fairy Godmother is easier to beat than the wiki suggests (with max move cooldown gear), so if you're hitting monsters that hard in ID I'd recommend going through the unlock and giving her a few attempts to see how it goes. As for evil/normal NGUs, it depends on what you think you can get out of them. The gear optimizer has a feature that's really helpful for this (NGU tab). Compare that with hacks and it should help you decide what to focus on.
I "optimize" (but not really since I change things without much reason, messing with the optimal setup) along daycare, wish, hack and NGU in that order.
The reason being evil NGU doesn't take much right now and sadistic NGU is way out of reach even with a full focus on NGU (a bit like you with normal NGU and evil NGU but you are much closer to being able to use evil NGU) so wishes and hacks benefit more from it, and for some reason I like to have daycare going fast even though I don't exactly have anything critical to level right now (I already finished my first level 100 ascended x7 and supreme intelligence looty so all that's left is levelling more for when new versions are added and levelling macguffins).
I've unlocked GM, and tried in the beginning of this rebirth - still not quite there.
Maybe I'm not using correct equipment - the strat is max move cooldown, and rotate maxed block + paralyze, with charge+ulti ?
Will see how it goes in the end of rebirth.Maybe it's time to invest some EXP into Power , both for ID and GM's sake.
For evil NGUs - I've pushed all to soft-cap, but further seems maybe a bit waste w/o BeastNGU - but since that is still far away, I'll prob have to do it.
Should be easier with MetaLand set bonus, and already close to maxing gen E/M power perk 3 (next cap and ngu ?).
For maual fights against godmother you want to keep your block and paralyze for when it enters the high damage mode.
Outside of that period of time it isn't that dangerous of a titan, but waiting until later in your rebirth does mean higher adventure stats from beards and advanced training so it helps.
For evil NGU, it's worth levelling it if you can get decent speed at least on the first few entries, even if you don't have the quirk yet because the diminishing returns from your normal NGUs should start to be high enough that even a full day worth of levels won't make much of a difference but evil NGUs should allow you to raise the bonuses faster.
My strategy for Fairy Godmother is to start the fight with all buffs active, then lead with charge+ultimate into a charge+parry/strong attack followed by paralyze. Keep wailing on her as much as you can, as you want to do as much damage as possible at the start of the fight. Pop heal early to keep your hp up and block only when she starts the explosions. There's a warning for it in the combat log, so don't miss it. While she's exploding, you can get one or two more hits in then turn off beast mode. If she's in the red or close to it, you'll probably be able to keep chipping at her health and whittling her down. Rotate paralyze, block, heal, and hyper regen as much as possible to stay alive. She'll do a second round of explosions not long after your buffs come off of cooldown, though at that point she'll either be close to dead or you won't be winning the fight.
As far as buying adventure stats goes, max hp and regen are both better than toughness. They scale more slowly than base stats so you can get a bigger percent improvement for the same exp spent. Heal and hyper regen also scale off those stats allowing you to last longer in combat. If you want to kill her sooner, power is where it's at. Toughness can help, but it's not as helpful as the other stats in manual fights.
Killed the GM, so far no need for EXP into stats - next kills were much easier with 2 items from her.
Also got first kill on Nerd V4.
Seems it will get even easier once the kickass introductory wish complete.
However it's very slow - even with 1/2 of all resources (1.8e13 E 8.9e12 M 75k R3) assigned, it was about 8 hours to complete.
I am getting kind of overwhelmed here. First, I need resources for evil NGUs, hacks (didn't even touch the hack-hack yet), and now wishes.
Also equipment - all items from Nerd, Meta Land, ID party .. and now GM.
I guess I can split rebirth in 2 phases:
1-12 hr: cap normal NGUs, get progress in TM and blood spells, and 1/2 resources to wishes.
12-24 hr: all E/M to evil NGUs, all R3 to hacks
You got a kill on Nerd v4? Nice. It hasn't seemed like that's been something I can attempt yet, although I did also get my first GM kill right at the end of my previous rebirth a few hours ago. I don't think I'll be trying Nerd v4 or getting any more GM v1 kills until I have autokill stats for them.
I had arbitrarily decided to put 1.5e13 energy (about 3/5 of my cap), 5e12 magic (between 1/3 and 1/4 of my cap) and 250k R3 (about 1/6 of my cap) onto leveling the introductory wish and that had it at somewhere between 5-6 hours to complete. Before I had put anything at all into it, both this and the "wish that wishes weren't so slow" were showing that it'd be 4 hours with 100% of all resources invested.
In hacks I had only been ignoring the wish hack, but now that I have that feature unlocked I've started it working on that one too.
All gear from Nerd v1-3, meta land, and interdimensional party is level 100 and almost all of it is fully boosted.
I have not taken a break to go back to the other half (I think it was) of the 24hr challenges in normal or to start on any of the evil challenges, though.
Random stat dump:
Bases: 800k / 32B / 1.575M energy, 550k / 22B / 1.075M magic, 13 / 650k / 13 R3, and 2.655e7 / 2.655e7 / 1.212e8 / 1.136e6 adventure
Totals: 7.122B / 25.537T / 9/970B energy, 6.135B / 18.836T / 6.478B magic, 31.7 / 1.481M / 29 R3, and 3.134e18 / 1.460e18 / 6.818e18 / 4.829e16 adventure (at about 4-5 hours into the rebirth)
Normal NGUs: ranging from 2.590e8 to 1.777e8 levels energy, and ranging from 2.548e8 to 1.775e8 levels magic
Evil NGUs: ranging from 1.101e6 to 1509 levels energy, and ranging from 1.324e6 to 2492 levels magic
Fruits: only power delta (17), watermelon (13), and macguffin beta (9) not at max tier
Diggers: 142.83% level bonus, max level upgrades have their costs in the e53 and e54 ranges
Beards: perm bonuses in order from fu manchu to gold beard are 1,227,835 / 622.52 / 3,395.67 / 260.65 / 6,064.06 / 1,542.97 / 13,038.92, and it seemed to take longer than had been implied but I finally seem to be seeing all 7 beards leveling at capped speed through a full 24 hour rebirth now
Hacks: levels are 459 / 395 / 334 / 333 / 278 / 212 / 212 / 170 on page 1, and 133 / 93 / 70 / 52 / 35 / 35 / 0 on page 2
Perks: stat boost rich perk II, adv boost rich perk I, and generic R3 power/cap/bar perk I are all 55 levels... generic EM power/cap/bar perk II are all 65 levels... faster NGU EM III are both 80 levels
Quirks: don't think anything at all has changed since I last mentioned them (been letting it save up for beast NGU, currently at 7672 of a needed 15k QP)
Macguffin bonuses: adventure ~150%, blood ~125%, number ~215%, augment ~375%, attack/defense ~2675%, gold ~1318%, EM beards both ~150ish, all others ~190ish to ~200ish
Wishes scale horribly with all 3 resources (no matter if it's power or amount they are passed through a ^0.17).
So for now don't sacrifice your progress in NGU or hacks, send a minimal amount in it that would not impact other features.
For example, with 1% of your 3 resources you would be able to get 10% of the speed you would get with absolutely everything put on that wish, meaning that the other 99% can be put to use on other features, not hurting their progress and still getting somewhat decent speed on your wish.
Later on, when you cap all evil NGUs, you will be able to send more and use wishes as a "dump" for your energy and magic, along with more wish slots and increasing stats for all 3 resources from exp and gear.
With kickass wish and GM gun, I can 2-3hit IDparty with drop loadout. But considering I've completed all norebs, so GM has 1hr cooldown, maybe I just start farming GM items (though the drop chance for V1 is 16%-ish now).
The more items I get, the more I get to the point where I need some radical cleanup of inventory again.
Also - considering I now get 4.7e7+ EXP from FOK, it seems natural point to start leveling R3 a bit (Ecap 5.1e10 Mcap 2.5e10 , 1:40:2-ish ratio).
Atm my R3 is at 5.1 190k 5 .
Godmother's drop chance caps at 25% anyway so you have more than half the maximum drop chance, more than enough to start farming it as far as drop chances are concerned.
Grats on the kill Armzzz. If I recall right, mobster gear at level zero is roughly equivalent to maxed party gear, so feel free to jump straight to it. IDP's set bonus is kinda meh, so it can wait if you have better things to do.
Slay0mithos, putting 1% of your resources into a single wish is (.01 x .01 x .01)^.17 x 100% = 9.55% efficient. So with a base speed of 5-6 hours shown, that'd be a 52-63 hour completion time, about two and a half days. That's, uh, not awful, I guess, but it's slower than what I'd be comfortable with.
I use 3/8 of my EM and 3/18 of my R3 spread evenly across three wish slots. That's 30.77% efficiency each for a combined total of 92.33% efficacy. That might be an over-investment compared to what I'm working on (currently the generics on page 1), but I'm sure they'll pay off eventually.
With all GM items, things got much quicker. But even now, the optimizer recommends numeric head and boots, and pogmail over GM items for NGU leveling (which is actually good, because I dont want to start autokill GM yet).
Related, I think it's time to move into evil NGU leveling full scale. I can cap ygg+exp reasonably, with good amount left for one another NGU leveling. For E NGU, all goes to drop chance now, to improve GM gain.
For wishes, with 1e12 1e12 4k (from 5.8e13 1.8e13 190k) , I get around 23-hour speed-wish - guess that is OK for now, as I still need majority for NGU/hacks.
Progress: Autokilling GM and Nerd V4. Maxed ID party set and all nerd items. From GM remain L91 gun, and L87 brass knuckles.
Using L68 A+5 , L0 Herald + L0 Emperor Looty (daycare L2 A+5, L0 Emperor, L0 King, gold + ATK-stat mcguf)
Mcguf slots (9): E/M pow+cap+ngu, drop chance, adv-stats, R3-power (add this rebirth, replacing ATK that got over 1k)
-- effective bonuses (%) : EP 178 EC 147 MP 180 MC 141 Engu 167 Mngu 160 Drop 158 Gold 113 ATK 1069 (because ofc 69 lol) ADV 162
Setups recommended by optimizer (11acc, half way to 12th):
PowerBars startup (TM, blood, R3 gain) - all GM items, herald, red cup, bag of trash, anime figurine, whistle, inf charm, gerbil (locked in: Voodoo Doll for beard speed, PinkBow for daycare)
-- so far natural stopping point is around 15k/5k levels in TM, 1.5e15 blood in number, 35%/850%-ish in drop/gold spells. Still mostly ignoring iron pill / mcguf spell, spending just few seconds worth blood.
Evil NGU phase: all GM - knuckles, panties, whistle, a+5, calculator, red cup, herald, bag of trash, anime figurine +doll +bow
-- caping first 4 E NGUs , and good progress on one more (recently drop chance)
-- caping first 2 M NGUs , and good progress on one more (recently TM and E-NGU)
R3 setup now takes under 30min. Speed 17 Power 12 Cap 350k Bars 13.
Working on 3rd level of wish speed.
At this moment, beating GM V2 seems still far away. I will need to fully boost toughness on all items yet (was holding back to prevent autokills as much as possible), and start boosting adv NGUs more.
**Question** : Is it worth to 'force' the new pit levels wish to complete asap, ahead of finishing the wish speed wish with 'normal' % usage?
You might want to hold off from doing that wish until the money pit's wandoos level is at 100 since it isn't in the list of the new tiers and it becomes quite hard to get them with the wish complete if you are earning enough gold for the new tiers.
The biggest gain from the higher tiers is with the adventure stats, but that is based on your blood production at the time when throwing gold into the pit so it only becomes really good when you can cap most rituals with your spare magic (which tends to only happen after you can fully can evil NGUs).
The pit is already belching on me (so atm I cant get more Wandooz levels from it).
Is there any upgrade that will allow me get more levels, and should be acquired before going for the pit wish ?
If you mouse over wandoos it will tell you how many levels you have from the pit, the 1E30 range thankfully gives 3 levels so if you are not at 100 it should be the best range.
As far as I know there is no way to accelerate it further than that.
For wishes I use about 15% of resources, though I'll probably switch to 10% when page 1 is mostly done and the next ones are more expensive. It's true that they have reduced benefit due to scaling, but some of the recommendations I see for 5% or less seem a little extreme to me.
They basically scale with the square root of the % of resources you invest - yes it's x^.17 or whatever but that's for each resource so it's actually (x^.17)^3 ~ x^.5 since there are 3 different resources (though you don't have to keep the same % of each resource if you don't want, the above idea still applies).
Personally I think most of the value of the money pit wish is in the increased chance for worn equipment/daycare levels, which is especially valuable for upgrading looties and pendants or if you have some hearts, though exp and iron pill are also a small boost over the previous money pit. It helped me get a6p and galactic looty much faster.
For GM v2, I found that once I had maxed GM set and maybe a day or two of capping evil adventure A ngu I was able to get the manual kill, so it shouldn't be too far off. It's probably worth focusing on your energy stats to get adventure A capped and keep it there, though that will probably be several days of focusing on energy to keep it capped before you can go back to other things. The GM v2 drops actually aren't that great, it's probably more important just to get the NGU capped so it'll be going up, then that will be the last NGU you cap for a while, so you can go back to focus on r3 or whatever else if you want after that.
So yeah GM v1 to GM v2 shouldn't be too bad as I said once you have the set fully leveled and boosted, but GM v2 to GM v3 will take a while (the wand from v3 looks incredibly useful, though). I've had GM v2 on auto kill for a few days and even if i look at all the sources of adventure stats I could aim for, they don't get me particularly close, and the next adventure zone requires almost the same stats. So it will be a while of just building up all your stuff, your exp, perks, ngus, hacks, etc after this. Supposedly GM v3 to exile isn't as bad, probably because you've got 2-3 adventure zones to help you there in between.
One thing - I've decided to throw away King Looty from daycare, in favor of aug mcguf.
It gains 1 level in 6 hours with L125 digger, while I get L8 drop from titan occasionally.
As I have only 5 slots, Emperor + A+5 get there, together with the no-cap mcguffings (ATK, gold, aug).
Well, managed to take down GM v3, I must have screwed my math up somewhere before because I thought it was further away - I still have like 30 major quests stored as well that I was planning to use for adventure boost (it's at 222/1000 now).
Kill stats were 5.143e20 power (7.714e20 beast)/2.646e20 toughness, same strategy as before but with megaboost from wishes, went down first try at the end of the rebirth. 1151 adventure hack, 71m adv A evil ngu, 300k adv B (though adv B is still really slow to add up but every bit helps).
Currently at 6.6k+ saved QPs for Beast NGU .. going at the pace of 210-ish QP per manual major quest. It is as annoying / frustrating (inventory space) as I expected, if not more.
The AP quest bank helps a lot for the timing though.
Done first 10 wish speed levels, now working on better titan rewards.
Do you recommend any specific wish in the 'noob' timescale, to get with priority? Maybe MEGABUF when I get stats anywhere close to GM V2?
If you haven't already, I would recommend putting in about half a day or even a full day of evil NGUs with ygg/exp capped since you're still a bit away from the NGU quirk. Even though you won't get the corresponding normal NGU levels, it's worth it for the boost you'll get at this point.
Megabuff is very good for manual fighting, and will probably lower the numbers you need a little bit (not sure exactly how much, 10-15% maybe). It's an option if you want to prioritize v2 manual kills (you'll want it by v3), but v2 drops are pretty mediocre so it's up to you.
For wishes you can look a bit at what appears to complete in a reasonable time and go from there. I got a few levels on macguffin drops early to build those up, money pit is another good early wish, better v2/3/4 titan rewards might be a bit more expensive but it's another to consider. But pretty much you just bounce around between whatever seems fast enough at the time - when the big unique purchases are too slow, you fill in the gaps with r3/e/m stuff or adventure stats. Sorted by base cost, anything past the first page will be too expensive for now, until you start finishing up e/m/r3. (The default sort is kind of weird and you may miss something so I like sorting by base cost).
For wishes just go for those that are easy to get, you can pick among the ones with similar times but there isn't much point in charging ahead to get late ones early since they take forever.
+1 for sorting by cost anc perhaps checking "not max level" (base seems better than total from my own experience but it does push the single level ones further down the list).
I personally don't see the point in mega buff (or oh shit maybe because I don't fight manually much), it take longer to be available than the skills they use and all they do is activate multiple skills at once.
Basically you wait 5 more seconds compared to the ultimate buff's cooldown and you save 2 turns (you activate all 3 buffs in one turn) but you still need to activate charge manually and all 3 buffs go on cooldown so you don't really open much time in your buffed status.
Megabuff is only valuable if you plan to kill things manually, but according to the description it performs all buffs simultaneously "plus 20% extra buffage." It doesn't update your display though so I don't know if that adds or multiplies but that should be 13-20% bonus stats.
Those extra stats are the main value in it. Being able to do all your buffs at once is mostly just a convenience but it does make the timing slightly easier to get 2 charged ultimate attacks before your buffs wear off against a titan. So I do think it's worth it if you intend to go for manual titan kills, but not if you just intend to wait for autokill.
