Hey guys,
I have been doing the troll challenge for about 24 ingame hours
now and i'm slowly getting tired of playing the game.
I started it way to early.
Any tips on getting through it?

If you're that far along and not making progress, it is probably best to quit the challenge and try again when your stats are higher.

Yeah, if you're struggling with a challenge (especially the Troll challenge) for 24 hours of active time, you're probably better off quitting it (rebirth > challenges > button on top right) if you don't think you can finish it in a few more hours, then coming back with better Power, Augments, Wandoos, and Gold NGUs and better equipment later on down the line.
BTW, no offline progress happens in the Troll or 24hr challenges, and the timer is paused, so you can close the game and go to sleep without losing the challenge.
You probably don't want to try the troll challenge until you can gain NUMBER with 3 or 5 minute rebirths.

Question..what location in Adventure mode is your "max zone"?

I try a troll challenge only if I have hope to achieve it in a few 3 minutes runs. I'm soon to do the fourth one, and it worked perfect for the first three. For sure I could have done them sooner with more IRL effort, but I don't think I would have like it. My leitmotiv for challenges is "Do it late, do it fast".

Troll mode is far too annoying and basically ruins game for me

If it takes more than an hour, it's probably too early to be worth it.

I think the troll challenges are bad game design. I find them tedious beyond belief and won't do the evil ones having nearly quit over the easy.
This means I will never get to experience dual wield which is a shame and may mean the game is not completable for me.
He should have put some basic bonusses behind the troll wall, not parts of the game that you can miss out on.

The troll challenge was something a lot of players asked for, maybe not exactly in that form but there was a big demand for a challenge that worked very differently from the normal gameplay, and you have to admit it is the case.
The big reward for each clear is also an incentive, to give those willing to work with the trolls something worth their time if they do it before they could brute-force it.
Before the reduction of required clears for most challenges near the end of last year the 7 clears also stood out as requiring very few passes.
If you hate them that much it's fine to wait until you have the last set of a difficulty and are ready for the jump in the next one.
At that point you can just chain 3 minutes rebirths in normal or 2 minutes rebirths in evil (thanks to the wish) and clear them all in no time at all, bypassing pretty much every troll through pure brute-force.
