I threw some money at some mega baskets in the hopes of getting new cats (spoiler: I didn't). I got several thousand taiyaki, and happily started spaming mini-baskets.
I now have 15 empty kitty slots more than I have actual kitties.
Is there a way to sell kitty slots? Or have the baskets convert them to, say, taiyaki once a player reaches a quantity of kitty slots that's equal or higher than the current quantity of cats in the game? Or just make them into something that isn't simply me having to scroll like a madcat to get to the end of my party?

There is really no cap to the number of slots ?
I wish there were a possibility to reorganize kitten within slots, it would be very convenient.
Having to scroll for slots is bad interface IMHO. They should all be visible at once.
Maybe the simplest solution would be to define a cap to the number of slots, and remove the chance of slots in baskets.

A cap to how many you can have would be nice. Or at least a way to sell off ones you don't want so you can get something out of the absurd amount you'll (eventually) get from baskets.
And I have to agree with Maskounet, the interface needs to be improved for when you're trying to view your kitties.

you can reorganize by unequipping and reequipping your kitties, but i second (fourth??) this, it's really bugging me that I now have over a dozen empty slots after all my cats.

I've come back to say I finally counted my slots up and I am up to 68 kitty slots, in a game with 30 cats to get. It's a bigger problem than it might first seem because even if I can just ignore the extra spots this number will still increase because baskets give out slots 10% of the time, meaning I get more additions to my capacity- *that don't do anything*- with regularity. Even just replacing the slot prize with 1 takiyaki would give it more functionality once you get more slots than max cats.

I think kitty slots should not be in baskets. At all. They are damn cheap already, I wouldn't mind paying 25 takoyaki for them.

Definitely good suggestions. Need better UI for kitty slots AND a better way to utilize useless kitty slots

I now have 17 more kitty slots than there are kitties in the game. 21 empty slots, and only 4 Kitties left that I "Haven't met yet"
There really needs to be a cap on Kitty slots once you have 30 of them.
