Why not try using an actual game making software instead of "Becoming an expert scratcher" that just sounds like a waste of effort.

Im a kid. I tried with lua then forgot how to do everything so I decided just to use something I could remember so I went with scratch. And yes I would try to use an actual software that was made in 2006.
