Description
A simple story-driven Pong game created in under 48 hours for Ludum Dare 30 (theme: Connected Worlds).
Please be sure to actually read the storyline. It's the entire focus of this game. :)
Tips:
Stage 1: This is a standard Pong game. If you need help with it, find someone who has actually played the original. I tried to stay as faithful to it as possible.
Stage 2: If you actually read the dialogue (and see the size of your "paddle"), then I hope you realize the objective is to LOSE, not to win. It's a narrow opening, but the ball moves slower originally than in Stage 1.
Stage 3: Your ally will always move slowly to the closest incoming ball, so let it handle those. Be careful though of one that is coming in slowly with a second ball about to overtake it; your ally will start moving towards the second one instead as soon as it is closer.
And finally, THANKS FOR PLAYING!
How to Play
W/S or Up/Down to move
Space/Enter to continue the dialogue / start the game
(If you need tips, read the game description.)

I enjoyed it, although I found the ending a little underwhelming. (Imagine the player embracing a life-sized pong paddle?) I didn't think "Pong with story" would be fun, but it was!
The "inside" player was supposed to be an actual person who had gotten sucked into the game. The ending was him making it back into reality. I'm glad you enjoyed it though :).

4/5 excellent game, kind of a underwhelming ending, however I love pong so I love thins game. Kind of short, could have used more levels, and slightly different art work, like I think the paddles were a little thicker in the original. But defiantly a excellent game.

Not bad... on level 3 I lost, it went back to 0 and nothing's happening... (all the players are in default position)
I just did a quick update to fix that bug. I can't do more since the LD is still going on, but it should work now. Thanks for the heads up.
