i suppose its high time to get the steam version now. i'll miss the chaotic nonsense chat once provided but this game was done fun for me to just leave it as an empty black box
The official version of MaD2 on the web was not free, but free to play with ads.
It’s a distinction that might not seem all that different, but it is what made the development and updates of MaD2 possible. Now, MaD2 download exists so people who like the game can keep playing it, while also making future development viable. Over a thousand items have been added since Flash EoL.

The Kong version has years and years worth of updates, making the game more complicated to the point that Supernova can't even run it. MaD2 uses some *really* deep Flash features to do some of the things it does (like modifying vector graphics paths on the fly.)

Thanks 0rava, hopefully they will fix this soon. It would be a great temporary fix until I can buy the game on steam or for when I'm away from home

Still, ORAVA, you made one of the most amazing ragdoll/sandbox games in our current history , alongside people playground and melon playground. I am forever grateful for your game.

First i cant run supernova on mac, second i just get a black screen on another device... I just wish that ragdoll/sandbox games are more supportive to older devices...

I remember playing this game in my childhood. It always brought a smile to my face, now that its gone i just feel old all cause flash is gone.A true masterpiece meant for a more civilized society

This is gonna be long, I wanted to ask sooner but there were some problems with signing into my account that you probably don't care about. So anyways, I downloaded supernova on my pc and was able to play MAD2, not realizing it wasn't supposed to be able to support it. It didn't work at first, but after a retry it was perfectly fine. This was at my mum's house, but when trying to play it (with the supernova player) on my dad's new pc, it doesn't work no matter how hard I try. Probably wouldn't work again if I tried on my mum's pc, but just wanted to ask.
The game was originally released here 9 years ago, and was playable all the way until Adobe flipped the killswitch for Flash some 18 months ago now. And Kong has been all but shut down for over two years now (https://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/1916387) so MaD2 download exists so people who like the game can still play it.

I wish there could be a direct and easy way to port custom content from the Flash version to Steam ver; That is something I can only dream about, but gosh, do I miss spending loads of time playing around with custom items and levels, the workshop's "arsenal" doesn't have much fun stuff till today.

it wont let me play it i downloaded the supernova player just for it to tell me it doesn't support this game?!?!
kongreate is dying running itself slowly... smh
