If you wait long enough at the "The End" screen a message appears: "The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore." So he does remember the shrink visiting, even though in the report the shrink says that he doesn't remember any of their prior meetings.... that's so sad :(

If you wait long enough at the "The End" screen a message appears: "The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore." Ny wife says its because he just wanted to have someone to talk to thats why he would pretend not to remember thier previous conversations. Hmm... pretty good hunny. :D

This game is simple and it is a difficult puzzle game but it consumes a lot of your time., The storyline is very well written it touch my heart to see that theres still developers who can write a good story, very good.

*The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story anymore*
Don't worry Jack. There'll be a lot more people to play your game so that you'll be able to tell your story again...

In the end, I love how it says that "The shrink is leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story anymore." for me, it might have meant that Jack (The person narrating the story) is saying the person playing the game would already leave since the game is already over. Beautiful beginning. Beautiful narration. Beutiful ending. I would personally rate this 11/10 'cause it's more than perfect for a simple game with a very deep and sad story.

This renders me speechless.
The overall atmosphere of the game is incredible, and the music is just over the top, especially Jack's theme. Dark, emotional and touching.
Sometimes, sorrow can be a beautiful yet bitter muse.
The saddest part is that I can relate to the story to some extent. Losing the loved ones, regardless of the reason, is a heavy burden each of us is forced to carry on.

So simple quick, yet so deep. I believe a second version with new levels and a level editor should be made. However please DO NOT change the game play at all. What you have is awesome and trying to make it better will most likely destroy it

I've never seen a simple internet game with such an evocative, emotional storyline. That was astoundingly good. Major, major props to the creator, I loved it. I've never commented on a game, but this was just too good to pass up. Amazing game.

It sounds like he just keeps telling the story to the shrink because of the overwhelming guilt he feels. It must be hell to be kept up locked away with no one to tell all the things that are killing you inside. :|

This games is one of the best flash games I have ever played. Its gameplay ties in with the storyline very well. The soundtrack matches with the mood of this game perfectly. On a scale of one to ten, I rate it an eleven.

It seems also sad when he's left alone by the shrink because his time is gone, but it's important to realise what he was just there at the first time because, as he doesn't remember having been there before, the rest of the times is a copy of himself who goes to the doctor (the real he may be depressed at home or worse...).

I didnt wait long enough for the shrink to "leave", but i found another trick, just keep running and jump off the edge, eventually you will get to the other side, by jumping on your clones head.

Usualfool, art is what you make itout to be. That's merely your opinion, and the others have their own.
As for MY opinion, I think it was very good.

I think that most people consider effort at art sufficient to comprise art. The idea of this game is interesting, especially of a man forced to relive the same moments over and over again. Unfortunately, as an allegory, it breaks down. Reliving events over and over again, for example, doesn't actually allow him to make progress, although it does in the game. The flowers, while a motif, don't rise to a theme, and the green box is ascribed significance without earning it. In short, it's an amusing puzzle game. But not art.

Great game, beautiful dialog, awesome puzzles w/out those annoying ones where you have to get the movement JUST RIGHT to complete, no rush. and I loled at the last level. I went "Every man for himself!" and had them all run and jump and keep jumping as soon as they spawned, so I kept trying to 'mario' hop them to get there, and eventually i did, w/ about 20 dead jacks and 2 survivors.(one somehow got onto the ledge, but he just stood there, so he was useless.) All in all i give this game a 5/5, it was very fun. yet emotional, too. I hope they make more of these, cuz you rarely see these kind of puzzles, and this was the only one where they thought deeply about the puzzles AND story/dialog, and the music was great too. Good job, 2DArray(the author. are they the same person, or did 2DArray just find and submit this?

100/100 this game is truly sad but has a great story line and also a tip on level 20 is what i did i just kept jumping of and running towards the box multiple times until i got to jump on the others and reach the end.
